This is little Buxton, from our cat’s litter of four. Prior to this picture, he had been sitting patiently in a cup, while watching the birds outside. When I decided to finally get out the camera, Buxton realized that it was time to go exploring elsewhere, so he was caught in this action shot.

Aww…lots of lil light color fur babies lately!! He’s a cutie… isnt that always the case though – he sits so patiently in that little cup and as soon as you grab the camera…he sneaks away! I have many pictures like that on my camera, too! He sure is a cutie…sitting or standing!!!!
I can imagine kitty in a cup as a calendar pic! But I can see this one as a calendar pic! I love his little tippy toe still in the cup.
This is such a great picture! Perhaps cats are born with a chip in their brain that tells them to move from a pose as soon as the human gets out the camera? I wonder if he got that last leg out without tipping the cup. Baby Buxton is adorable – love his light tabby markings.

The newest issue of Cat Fancy magazine speaks about the “rules.” Probably moving when you got your camera is just another rule. I especially like the rule about throwing up on carpet/rugs/favorite chair.
Silly little Buxton! Yes, it never fails that they move as soon as you go for the camera. Wouldn’t you just love to have cameras installed all through your house and see what they do when you are away?
