Location: Antioch, California, USA
This is Sonny. My daughters snuck him in the house in a purse. We already had one cat and share a place with my brother. He said they could keep him if he could name him. We have two bearded dragon lizards named Lily and Merle. Both cats are scared of the lizards, but occasionally I catch them together since the lizards run free.

What a sweet boo, and a darling story. I rescued a kitten at school and brought it home when I was in 8th grade…tucked him in my coat.
My Mum tells a similar story of how she acquired her first cat when she was 11 – a beautiful black & white who’d stick his paw in the milk jug as his party piece – Nev lived to the grand old age of 20.
my cat’s “girlfriend” is my leopard gecko! they get a long great. the gecko loves to sleep under elvis’s warm belly!
this little guy is adorable! he’s got a cool new friend along with his new home.

The cats are scared of the lizards, yet you allow them together? I’d imagine that kitten would be quite vulnerable right now, but once it gets bigger, it could conceivably attack the lizard successfully.

I would watch them when he gets bigger–there was a gecko in my oven drawer and it was all I could do to keep Patches from attacking it until I caught it and let it loose outside.
