Hisser & Pirate
Location: Hisser & Pirate

We rescued these two cuties as strays from our back door when they were begging to get in on a zero degree morning. Both had bad colds and the Butterscotch male had a crusted shut right eye (hence the name Pirate). Since we had too many cats to begin with, we nursed them back to health and they are currently awaiting adoption at our local cat rescue shelter. Someone will get a great friend!

Pounce!!!
Yeehaw!!! I’m first….two cuties just for me!!!!
Aww…bless their tiny lil hearts! I’d be begging to come inside in zero degree weather, too! Glad you took them in and nursed them back to health! Someone will be very lucky to have these two.
How lucky that Pirate and Hisser (is there a story behind that name?) came to the right door! Funny how they always know where to go. I hope that these two adorable kittens find their furever home soon and hopefully be able to stay together.
Stack ‘em up FUZZ!
I hope and pray that the shelter is a no kill shelter.
They’re so cute – so glad you took them in. KM, where are they from? I’m tempted to get Leela some siblings.
Where???? Where are these babies needing a home??? No location?? I need another Pirate in my house!!! I love them!!!
Please who ever submitted these two post a location so people in the area will know they could give these two precious babies a home!!
Man, those guys look great. Well done saving them, and Pirate’s eye! I guessed they picked the right door to wander up to!
Darling babies! I hope they find a loving home with lots of toys, warm places to snooze, and loving laps with willing hands to pet and love and woozle them! (I know I sure would!)
Great names! I hope they can go home together.

They have divinely thick fur and wondrous sweet faces. I can almost feel their warmth and fuzziness. . .
Bless your heart for rescuing these little babies. May they find loving homes.
Aww, precious babies! Looks like one is being a hot-water bottle for the other!
Thank you for fostering them and helping them get over their colds. You saved their lives, for sure.
Someone will be very happy to adopt these Winter kittens!
A Butterscotchie and a Silver stripey traveling together. Who could resist this precious pair?! Thank You for taking them in in a time of need. I hope they find their furrever homes soon.
Oh I hope they go together. I sure hope they get adopted right away, but they are so cute so they shouldn’t have a problem. Thank you for taking them in. They are sweetie pies.
Where are we? FUZZ
It’s cold outside FUZZ
Aaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr FUZZ
oh my, they’re beautiful! So kind of you to take them in, and get them the help they needed. Kittens just know who the kind cat people are!! I hope they go to their forever home soon
Love the names! Bless you for taking these darlings in out of the cold, nursing them to health and helping them find furever homes. They look adorable.
Where are these babies? I’ll be happy to add them to my crazy bunch. Charlotte, the greyhound, loves kitties and my cats, all females, would love some friends. They are just beautiful and I love the names.
It sounds to me like you wouldn’t have trouble getting homes for these two blue-eyed beauties. And of course, they come as a set. Double the fuzzy love.
My heart is warm as are theirs, can’t be said enough how cute they are and how wonderful you were for taking them in.
Hisser & Pirate update! Not sure why the location didn’t show up, but it was Toeldo, Ohio. Hisser was named since she thought she was ferocious and hissed every time you approached her. But she melted in your arms once you picked her up. Pirate was named due to his infected eye making him look like a pirate. The best news was the shelter has adopted both cuties out to a new home and they are safe and happy!!
Thank you for the update – I’m so happy they found homes; they’re adorable!
That’s great news! Thank you for sharing these two little ones for us. I wish them well in their new home.
hurray! great news to start my day. Thanks for the update
