These are Dusty’s older sisters. We got them when they were about seven weeks old. The owner of their mother was going to drown them, but we told him we would take them and find homes for them if he would just wait until they were old enough to wean. My husband kept putting off seeking homes for them, so of course they are still here. Skamp is the largest and solid black. Skat is the runt and nearly identical to Skit, they look like mini Maine Coones. This was taken when they were about five months old, about a month before we got Dusty. They still like to sleep on top of the tower, though now only two fit at a time and only just. I guess it’s a good thing I have a very large soft-spot for purring furballs.

oh my goodness, thank you for saving such beautiful kitties! how perfectly awful that someone would be so heartless as to think about drowning them without even trying to find homes for them first. May they repay you with love and purrs for many years to come

As far as the person who had them before…I can’t say what I’d like to do with him, but please tell me he doesn’t have any other animals…if so please take them away for their own safety
I know what we should do with the person who wanted to drown these three beautiful kitties. This person should be thrown in the water and left there to drown. I hope he doesn’t have any other animals and if he does someone should call the authorities and report him. These three are just beautiful. Thank you for saving them.

You are wonderful to save these kitties. The person who was going to drown them should be reported to the Humane Society and be should be prevented from ever having pets. What a horrible person! >^..^<

There is a special place in heaven for those who show love to God’s precious creatures. And, surely, there is a special place in hell for those who abuse them, such as drowning innocent creatures!

THANK YOU for saving these cuties, how dare that person even THINK about such a cruel and heartless act for any creature. You have a heart of gold and you will be paid tenfold. Shame on that man and bless you, which you obviously are blessed by taking these beautiful babies in. Your rewards will be exponential.
