I found this little guy at a local shelter. I loved his sweet face and the long white eyebrows and whiskers. What a shock at about four months they all fell out. It wasn’t long and they grew back in and of course it wouldn’t have mattered; he has captured our hearts. Meow.

Who could resist this face! We actually went to the shelter to pick up a different kitty and there was Sky. So we came home with two. She’s not the angel she pretends to be. Always bossing me around. Let me out! Let me in! Dinner’s late! What? No snacks? But at night she’s a purr/snuggle machine. Soft as a puff of smoke.

Adolph was eight weeks old when this picture was taken. His Mother is a feral cat. When the kittens were about four weeks old they started wondering about and Mom couldn’t keep them contained. I rounded all four of them up and raised them until they were old enough to adopt. Adolph is just so cute and cuddly I couldn’t let him go! He makes us laugh every day!

Sadie

My parents found Sadie as a stray near my grandmother’s farm in September 2008, and she was estimated at three weeks old. At four weeks, my husband and I decided to add her to our family. We had a couple of rough months, since she battled internal parasites. In this photo, she was about five weeks old, and had crawled into a duffel bag to take a nap. She has grown into a beautiful kitten, who has a bit of attitude and spunk. We love her and she has added a lot to our family!
