After all your lovely comments regarding my beautiful boys Abel and Tasman, I felt it was only right to give a bit of an update. After we moved to Australia I took a position volunteering at my local RSPCA because I had missed having animal contact so much. After 6 long months of living in an apartment in the city we moved out to the suburbs, and very soon afterwards a handsome fellow called Jerry followed me home from a shift one day – he is a grown up though so can’t be a daily kitten! After a few more months of solo cat life, I was there doing a shift in the cattery, and this little technicolour bundle of fur kept on wriggling out from under the door to her pen, running up to me, climbing up my leg and trying to get in my pocket. Needless to say, (I’m sure you know what it is like to be chosen by a cat) she followed me home that very same day. She is a total scamp, and even at a year and a half of age is still small enough to wiggle under doors. We love them both very much, and are glad to have offered them new homes and new lives.
