Location: West Columbia, South Carlolina, USA
We found Grayson (or he found us) one very chilly morning as a tiny baby. He was infested with fleas & covered with blood. We found out he was anaemic, hypoglycaemic, & needed a blood transfusion. We rushed him to the animal emergency room while he was having seizures & he almost died quite a few times. They said he had a very small chance to live & would always have a neurological brain disorder. I’m so happy to say that after a week in the hospital, & over a year now at home with us, he is the happiest, healthiest kitten ever. You would never, ever know he is a bit of a “special needs” kitty!

Thanks! For some reason I didn’t have to sign in twice today so I made it through! By the way, Grayson is the name of my friend’s son and we just call him “G” or “G-baby” for short. I was thinking of that when I first saw this adorable picture!

Made me want to cry until I read where Grayson is the healthiest happiest kitten ever! I am SOOO happy he made it and that he turned into such a healthy cat! Good for him… and thank you for being so caring!

I was moved, sincerely, to post on this lovely little guy. He does look so content and happy! It is so heartwarming when a rescue turns out so well. Although I have five cats and try so hard not to have favorites, my rescue kitty is very special to me, and when we cuddle, sometimes I think of what his life would have been had I not found him. It makes me soooo grateful that fate worked out our meeting. Take little Grayson into your arms and be grateful for him, as he is for you!
Bless you for not giving up on him! Our Ozzy was brain-damaged also, the breeder was going to euthanize him until we took him in—he was the most loving cat we ever had. He lived 12 wonderful years and we miss him teriibly.
