Mao
Location: Gresik, East Java, Indonesia

Mao is my first cat and he’s a very active cat that always does stupid, silly things. He always makes everybody smile and laugh. He loves to sleep and sit on my lap (or anybody’s lap) and always accompany me when I watch TV or even cook in the kitchen. Love him so

Columbus, Toes, Precious, Clymer & Cookie
Location: Palm Coast, Florida, USA

These five kittens and their mom were left in the outside cage overnight at our local Flagler County Humane Society, and we agreed to foster them on July 4th, when the kittens were two weeks old (we think) at the time. Here they all are, just as cute as can be, for the begining of their potty training. Left to right, are Clymer (who likes to climb), Toes (who likes to chew on anyone’s toes), Columbus (who was the first to venture out – but we now think he is a she, so we call her Columbee), the one in the back is Cookie (because she is a smart cookie-the first to learn how to eat dry kibble), and then there’s Precious, just because she is. Thanks to advice received from this website, all kittens are now eating well, should gain some weight, will be neutered, and then put up for adoption and hopefully each will have wonderful forever homes soon.

Dilly
Location: UK

Dilly is the newest addition to my family. She spent the first nine weeks of her life mistaken as a boy, but now we know she is actually a female thanks to a visit to the vets. She is a confident kitten having been raised beside four other cats, a dog and three young children. She purrs whenever she is fussed and definitely prefers a lap to snooze on rather than her own bed!

Shammy
Location: Brampton, Ontario, USA

Shammy is the biggest of his litter and yet the sweetest of all three, he loves being rubbed. When he was younger he would rather stay with mom cat or mom human than playing with his sister. Shammy is being adopted by a nice family today and I will miss him a lot.

Clovis & Raquel
Location: Hilton, New York, USA

We lost two senior kitties in two months earlier this year. We lasted 5 days with no cats in the house and couldn’t stand it any longer, so we visited the KAT shelter in Hilton, NY. We couldn’t decide whether to adopt adult cats or kittens, so decided to think about it and return when the shelter opened again the following weekend. Two hours later, friends showed up at our door with a beautiful little black kitten that had been dumped off at a farm. We named her Raquel, after her rescuer Rachel. Since her litter mates were not available, we went back to the KAT shelter and adoped Clovis, the orange tiger male. The two kittens bonded immediately and have been a delightful addition to our home. They are sweet natured and loving and we think their predecessors would approve.
