Neko
Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA

Neko and her siblings were rescued by some friends of mine. I took her in when she was just seven weeks old. She’s so feisty and playful, but she also loves to cuddle. When she’s not playing, you can find her curled up next to me when I’m working.

Junior & Muffin
Location: Rio Rancho, New Mexico, USA

These are my two little ones, brother and sister, just a couple of days after we adopted them from the shelter. They came home in perfect health and then, two days later, Junior developed a sneeze, runny nose and eyes. His little sister caught the same virus and then both were so sick that the vet thought that they wouldn’t make it. However, tons of medicine and care later they are now happy, healthy well loved additions to our home.

Soda
Location: Ohio, USA

We found Soda in our garage one March day in 2004. He and his sister, Scotch, were abandoned there by their mom. They were, by the Vet’s estimates, about two or three weeks old (in the picture he’s about five weeks old). We kept Soda and Scotch in the garage while bottle feeding them for a few days in the hopes that mom would return for her kittens, but when the kittens started following me into the house, I knew we had to bring them inside. It’s hard to believe that tiny little Soda is now almost 17 pounds.

Rosie & Mr Alphabet
Location: Tinton Falls, New Jersey, USA

Rosie (Foreground) and Mr. Alphabet (background) came to our family as foster kittens when they were 2 weeks old. They were originally due to be put up for adoption, but a few weeks in we decided to keep them.

JJ
Location: Zurich Weinland, Switzerland

This is JJ on his first night with us. He came from a neighbour and was born in the woodyard we live alongside. His mama pops round regularly to see him and share a bowl of milk.

Norrie
Location: Gilroy, California, USA

This is Nomie. She is four weeks old. She is a very loving kitten, full of energy. She has everyone rapped around her little paw.

Max
Location: Melbourne, Australia

After seeing the Daily Kitten today, Spideog, I thought “Oh my God! Max has a twin!” Spideog is the image of our kitten when we first got him from the RSPCA when he was 11 weeks old. Max is a purring, pouncing ball of fun and naughtiness. From going boneless and rolling in front of our feet looking for love to hiding under the blankets in the bedroom and attacking our feet, our precious Ginger Ninja has made both us and her big sister Polly the calico very happy.
