In the US there is a serious overpopulation problem with cats and dogs. Large numbers of perfectly lovable animals are killed every day because there aren’t enough homes for them. In the US, the last thing that is needed are pet breeders.
I hope the situation is different in Lithuania.
I have been reading this blog every day for at least a year. I know the readers really love cats. That is why I mentioned this. I intend no disrespect or insult to anyone.
If possible, it is much better for cats to find another way to make money other than breedng them.
I totally agree with the above comment. These kittens are beautiful but there are so many out there that need homes. No one needs to “buy” a purebred cat or dog.
There are those of us who have both a purebred and rescue kitties–I have a Himalayan (I didn’t pay for her–she was put up for adoption at the age of 3 years by the breeder she had kittens for). I also have 2 cats who were born feral. Today’s kittens are a fine example of quality breeding–there is nothing wrong with it. You have no right to condemn any cat lover!
If anybody thinks that cat breeders make money – I don’t know any who do. It is labor of love. I do not breed cats, but if I had the money to do it, I would!
In June, 2009, I adopted a male 4yr.old Maine Coon from Austin, Texas Maine Coon Rescue. Bogie now lives with me, and 3 Corgis. But, as we all know, Bogie is the boss. The Maine Coon has turned out to be the best cat I have ever had in my 60 plus years.
Brossom and Bacardi are my favorites. If you were in the US, they would now be living in my home forever. I know they all will be in good loving, forever, homes soon.
The kittens are beautiful. Hopefully Lithuania doesn’t and never will have pet overpopulation like this country does.If someone really loves cats,she/he can find them in any shelter/ rescue group/breed rescue. (I saved a purebreed Norwegian Forest Cat from being euthanized at a shelter years ago) There are endless numbers of cats that are just as beautiful, but get killed in shelters because of irresponsible people breeding them and not getting their cats spayed or neutered and contributing to the misery. I just hope Lithuania doesn’t and never will have a problem like this. Pets are not a fashion items but breathing, living, feeling creatures just like us. By the way they are mammals just like humans.
Beautiful Bunch of B’s
Can’t believe I got the Pounce!
They are so beautiful and fluffy. I want to hug them all!

Not funny, donut. Race cars, not dogs or cats.

Nobody is condemning cat lovers. I am a cat lover and I am speaking up to reason with people to stop a practice ( breeding cats ) that hurts cats.
