Malo
Location: Parkville, Missouri, USA

Malo was two ounces when she was abandoned at the clinic I worked for. She went everywhere I went for the first two months I had her. She had me wrapped around her little paw in no time!

Pripyat
Location: Chernobyl, Ukraine

This kitten lives quite happily at the Chernobyl Interinform in Ukraine. He gets to eat four square meals a day, is adored by all the scientists and staff and even gets to live with his mum. He doesn’t seem to suffer any ill effects from radiation, and is a jolly, playful little fellow.
The Kittenmaster writes: I wonder if little Pripyat is related to the cat in the picture posted on 24 March 2008?

Bree
Location: The Pas, Manitoba, Canada

Bree is the sweetest little kitten! We adopted her from a farm when she was just six weeks old. She and her brother were the only two to survive out of a litter of four. She gets along great with my one-year-old Pomeranian, Rory, and she loves to cuddle with him. She learned to purr at just a couple weeks old and is very affectionate. I can’t imagine our lives without her!

Sophie
Location: Hanford, California, USA

Little Sophie was found in a dumpster at the mall where my daughter works. I got a call to pick her up and see if I could find someone to care for her. Well, one look at that little girl and I was sunk. She was only six weeks old when we found her, and now, two weeks later, there’s no way I could let her go. She loves to play and eat and eat and eat. Her favorite toy is a mouse, she carries it around everywhere. We have three other cats and two of them (girls) have pretty much accepted her. She chases the boy around the house every time she sees him.

Powder
Location: Tujunga, California, USA

Say Meow to Powder! I knew he was unique when I first discovered him in a nearby carpenter’s shop. The mother had been a resident of the shop and one day presented a wonderful litter of kittens. Powder was pure white with one yellow eye and one blue eye. He was the only kitten who didn’t high tail it out of there when I approached. Powder definitely chose me… and it was a purrfect match. Every morning Powder starts our day by choosing a toy from his toybox and we proceed to play ‘fetch’. He will repeatedly retrieve his chosen toy each day til he finally decides ‘game over’ and decides to have a seat. Gleaming over a game well played!

Nala
Location: Providence, Rhode Island, USA

We got Nala from the Animal Rescue League. As you can see she loves jumping into and playing in all of our trash barrels. She also loves playing with our other two year old cat who has taken to her like a big brother! She is a bundle of energy and now we can’t picture our lives without her.

Missy
Location: Fort Myers, Florida, USA

We plucked this little angel out of a laundry basket at the Humane Society when her family was bringing Missy and three little brothers in for adoption. She is a character and loves to play with our two year old cat, Kali. I had thrown these warm towels on our bed, and when I went to fold them later, out popped Missy. She is a real camera “ham!”
