Location: Swansea, Massachusetts, USA
This is little Calvin. He came to live with us five days ago. He is not fully litterbox-trained and that means a lack of sleep for my husband and I, but we would not change it for the world. Calvin came into a loving home. He lives with my husband, myself, our three daughters, a 13 year old doggie brother, and his seven month old kitty brother. He was actually the only one in the litter. He loves to cuddle and is just a wonderful addition to our family.

If this isn’t the most phenomenal kitty picture ever! I love kitties and I love sunflowers! I agree with Sheenagh — please tell us where we can get “2 for the price of 1″ — a plant that grows sunflowers AND kitties!
yea two of my favorite things..sunflowers and more than that my beautiful fur babies.
With some time and patience, he’ll get the whole litter box thing figured out for sure. He’s cute as a button!
Thank you for the compliment. And also he now has the litterbox thing down. I went a bought Dr Elsey’s Kitten attract litter and let me tell you…if anyone has an issue with their kitten or cat using a litter box…i swear by it. They have kitten attract and cat attract. IT WORKS.

Yes my other fur Baby Bruin was the other kitty in the sunflower pot. I dont know what it is about those fake sunflowers but they lover them.

Little Calvin is so cute. I have a Calvin too, but it’s a 12 year old female. (Long story). Enjoy him for a long time.

In 1997 our cat Hobbes passed away suddenly. I was heartbroken because it was just before Christmas. We went to the animal hosp. and adopted two kittens, Annie and the other we named Calvin before we knew it was a girl. I wouldn’t change her name for anything. From my favorite comic strip Calvin and Hobbes came the names. I know Hobbes is smiling up in heaven. Calvin is a real drama queen.

Thank You Beachcomber..he is just a delight to have and love. Yes i am very lucky to have him. I have such a wonderful family … My Husband, 3 daughters … and 3 fur babies (1 dog Meeko and 2 kittys Bruin and Calvin). My family is great. I have to go out a buy another Christmas stocking for Calvin as all the others have one that is stuffed with treats and toys he needs one too.
oops .. i mean i need to get two more .. one for Calvin and his big brother Bruin. This is the first year with both babies…lol Oh what fun it will be with the Christmas tree

about the tree yea we usually get a real tree but this will be out first year with any cats. I am thinking maybe a artificial tree so they are not covered in sap. But you are right…it should be an interesting and hectic Christmas this year.

Thank you. I dont know what it is about these sunflowers he loves them. My daughter actually sits there and put the sunflowers back on the stems from the kittys pulling them off and swatting them across the floor.

Thank you Dallas. He is now potty trained but the sleep is still very little. For some reason he doesnt bury it and ends up stepping in it. So i have to be up so i dont have poopy paw prints thru the house. Oh well who needs sleep anyway. LOL

What a charmer! My daughter foster kittens and is always doing “poopy-paw” clean up! Hopefully, in a short time, he’ll get the hang of cover-up. Give that sweet boy a cuddle for me.
