Pripyat
Location: Chernobyl, Ukraine
This kitten lives quite happily at the Chernobyl Interinform in Ukraine. He gets to eat four square meals a day, is adored by all the scientists and staff and even gets to live with his mum. He doesn’t seem to suffer any ill effects from radiation, and is a jolly, playful little fellow.

He’s very cute and looks pretty happy. I’m glad to hear he has such a good life and is well taken care of.

The kitten looks busy, monitoring the area. “Why aren’t you wearing your badges?!? You go right back home and put on your radiation badge! And bring me noms!”
I completely agree with Dscully100! Pripyat looks like a very official kitty with lots of policing to do and therefore needs mass quantities of noms. Good thing he has his white gloves to direct everyone. I would do anything he ordered me to.
Little Pripyat looks sweet, and sounds like he loves his life and all his friends. Lucky kitty!

Pripyat is a very handsome fellow; it sounds like he has lots of love and attention like all well pampered pets deserve.
Thank you KM for the link to Radiation Kitty; that was a very interesting story and before my time in finding TDK – you can do more flashbacks like that anytime.

I remember Radiation Kitty and I’m happy to see that you are revisiting the area and checking up on the felines that are living happily.
A wonderful glimmer of comfort and happiness in the devastated Chernobyl. I’m so glad Pripyat doesn’t show any signs of radiation poisoning.
