  • Sulu

    November 21st, 2009

    Location: North Pole, Arkansas, USA

    Sulu

This is Sulu, he is 10 weeks old. Someone had left him behind when they moved. When people came to replace the carpet, he came out of the closet (hence the name).

Bless you for saving him! A similar situation happened to my friend when he bought his first house. The previous owner left his cat in the basement (deliberately, mind you!!!) and my friend discovered him when he was moving in. He kept the cat and he was a very nice kitty up til the day he passed away! May Sulu have a good life from now on!

Sulu is very lucky and I thank you for giving him a furever home!

Before I die, I want to banish the notion that cats are so independent they’ll always fend for themselves. Abandoning a cat (esp. in a closed building) leaves it to starve and dehydrate until they die. If this isn’t cruel, I don’t know what is.

Sorry for the angry tone but volunteering for animal rescue, I have learned many people have no problem just walking away for their animals.

Little Sulu looks like a charmer! What a handsome boy. So glad things turned out well for him!

(And there’s a special place in hell reserved for the horrid people who left him behind in an empty house.)

How can anyone resist him? It’s like he’s saying “Thank you!!” I wonder if he hides in closets.

Wow, what a cutie. Isn’t this the kitten belonging to the new TDKer who also has another cat (dog?) called Bones? Darling Sulu, I’m so glad you came out of the closet. A lingering and particularly nasty pox on the cruel people who left you there!

I can’t imagine moving and leaving one of my pets behind! I know things can get crazy, but it would be like forgetting to put the kid in the car! I’m glad Sulu was found, I’m sure he has a much better life now! Live long and prosper kitty!

I love Sulu. There is a very hot place waiting for people who abandon animals. If you can’t keep them then take them to a shelter! This guy is a keeper, for sure. A real cutie.

Awww! He looks like a black haired version of my orange kitty kat when he was little (he’s a talker too, btw).

I can’t believe anyone could leave him behind on accident. Shame on them! :(

Some people are horrid. I hope those people get paid back in kind for trapping this kitty in a closet. Thank you for adopting him. He’s a very sweet little Sulu kitty.
