Cosmo Kramer
Location: Bolton, Connecticut, USA

This is Cosmo Kramer. He loves taking naps in the sun, playing with toy mice, and hiding in soft blankets. When we bought him the woman we got him from said he was a girl! His name would have been Heidi because he had hid behind our TV cabinet for five hours his first day in his new home.

Sunny Baudelaire
Location: Centreville, Virginia, USA

Sunny got her full name from the Series of Unfortunate Events books from one of the characters, a baby named Sunny who liked to bite things. My cat Sunny was the runt of the litter and loved to bite toes and fingers. She’s about eight weeks old in this picture. She’s about a year and a half old now and has grown out of the biting habit, but she’s such a bundle of joy so we call her Sunny Day now instead of her original full name.

Merope
Location: Tokyo, Japan

We’ve had little “Mero” for about 10 days now, and every minute has been a joy. She is already queen of the house, and we are her happy subjects. She loves to climb up to your face and just stare in your eyes. Such a lovely little face, as you can see in the photo…

Bunny
Location: Seattle, Washington, USA

I found my kitten Bunny on April 17, 2009, at the Tokeland Marina on the Washington Coast, at the end of a rock jetty. He was shining in the sun like an angel. He was also starving — just skin and bones. I managed to catch him using a can of catfood, and within two days he was purring and eating up a storm. He looked like a little rabbit, so I named him Bunny. Now that he’s a big bruiser, we also call him Bubba. He bosses around our two other cats and our two big dogs, but also loves playing with them. He’s the most affectionate cat I’ve ever had. He’s at least part Maine Coon — he has all the physical and personality characteristics of that breed. And he has a black spot on the back of his left forearm, just like the lucky Japanese Maneki Neko cats that you see statues of in stores and restaurants, holding up their paw. We are so lucky to have him, and I think he feels lucky to have us!

Venice
Location: Fremont, California, USA

Venice is a precious little four month old girl with enough curiosity and energy for two kittens. She was adopted two months ago from a local shelter along with a sweet little tabby fellow who is now her best friend and big brother. As her owner likes to say, “Venice is the brains of the operation and her brother is the brawn”. She loves drinking from the faucet and is now teaching this trick to her brother.

Bella
Location: Somonauk, Illinois, USA

Merry Christmas! Bella came from a litter of five. Her mom had given birth to them in October at my place of employment. Everyone here couldn’t resist and we all adopted one. I however I had taken two, her brother, which we named Bo, he looks very much like her and we couldn’t resist. They are loving their new home and enjoy playing with their older brother & sister, Cubby & Clarisse.
