Houdini & Spanelli

This was taken July 2008 of my Houdini and Spanelli. Spanelli is the fluffy one and Houdini the almost all black one. They were both stolen from me on my birthday, Oct 4th, 2009. I miss them dearly and look for them every day.

Oh no, that is horrible. Oct. 4 is the feast of St. Francis. I hope he protected them and they were at least taken by someone who wanted to give them a good home. And I hope the person relents and returns them to you. They are so cute.

Oh poor kitties. Poor you.
If it was on your birthday, I would think they were taken by someone who knew. How could it just be a coincidence? Here’s hoping that this horrible person has a change of heart and gives you back your little ones.

I agree with turandot that their being stolen on your birthday (of all days) is a strange coincidence. I hope that whoever did this dispicable thing brings the kitties back safe and sound. Any kitties you get in the future I would leave inside at all times. I have two shelter cats we adopted and while I know they’d love to be outside, there are too many strange critters (two and four legged) out there so I keep our “kids” inside always. I’ve lost too many sweet kitties to the outdoors so I know your grief. Let us all say a prayer for Houdini and Spanellis return! Blessings.

if they had just not returned from outside, I would think the OP would have said “lost”. To me “stolen” implies that she came back to her house to find that something was amiss, and among them, her cats, or that someone she knows actually knowingly took her cats away to hurt her for some undisclosed reason.
Sadly enough, I know of at least one cat person who split with an ex and whose ex took away “his” cats, thus breaking up her furry family. He basically just changed his mind about letting her keep the cats in question, but rather than discussing it with her, he went in the house while she was at work, and took them away (they happen to be older than this pair though). :[

I’m sorry to hear about your lovely babies. I hope they are safe somewhere. A friend had his house robbed and the idiots took his cockatiel along with electronics. I can’t believe people do such callus things.
