Location: Walkerton, Indiana, USA
This is my cat Sophie when she was a little kitten. She was so sweet and cute. She was really lazy. Every time I would call out her name, she would run up to me and meow. I’m not sure what happened to her. She was an outside cat, and one day she just disappeared. I never found her.

Sopie is adorable. I pray she has found a new loving, caring furever home. I know what it’s like to have a kitty go missing and never to know the outcome. Sophie is just cute enough though that I’m sure someone fell in love and gave her a wonderful home.

I hope Sophie is okay. This is a sad story.
Precious bundle! Formerly my cat Buff disappeared and I was so sad and guilty I could only hope that someone who would take better care of him than me had taken him in, because he was pretty, sweet and mellow. Later I found another cat (Koshka) on the street without a collar and looking for food near my home and I carried her home. She was so young she climbed up and suckled under my chin on my neck, stole my heart; and she bounded like a gazelle, ate absolutely anything from my plate. Unfortunately when I let her be an outdoor cat, she was smashed flat by a truck. I was a little hysterical when we were burying her. Finally with Koshka I learned I couldn’t stand to lose another cat, so now I don’t let my cats outside. It cuts down on vet and care bills too, (no fleas, no rabies, no viruses, no auto accidents). Actually it is difficult to see the difference between an outdoor cat and an abandoned cat. So I must hope someone “cat-napped” your sweet little Sophie, thinking she was a stray. Better luck next time.
Stop letting precious creatures outside! You wouldn’t let human children wander outside- cats and other pets should be cherished and treated with the same care!
