What is the difference between an outdoor cat and an indoor cat? Average life span for an outdoor cat is 7 years! Average life span for an indoor cat is 16-18 years. Need I say more? Baby kitties and adult cats deserve to be cherished members of the family. Too many tragedies happen when they are left to wander around outside, cars, poison, torture, torment, to say nothing of the elements.
And please remember to apay and neuter. There are already too many unwanted pets looking for furever homes.

FEED ME! FEED ME! FEED ME! This goes on in our house as well. Sometimes I have wished our cats could talk yet when it comes to something they want, I am grateful they can’t. Tikka is a cutie and a half.
Odat80, I’ll bet that Tikka’s mama didn’t mind you bringing this up at all. What you said is sadly true. The more people that read posts like that the more apt people are to keep their kitties inside. Both of our babies were shelter cats and after their adoption, they have been inside cats from day one.
