Daisy
Location: Folsom, California, USA

This is our little Daisy. She came into our lives in July after we lost our beloved Pebbles at 21 years of age late last year. My wife missed her little old lady Calico, and we happened to stumble upon Daisy by pure chance. Once my wife saw her, she knew instantly. Daisy has all the catitude one would expect from a Calico, as she already dominates her older brother and sister with typical Calico fearlessness. She loves to play with the green ball in the picture and will carry it around the house in her mouth. After a while she’ll dunk it in the food or water bowl as obviously it has gotten hungry or thirsty. We’re not sure if it’s her prey or her “baby” as she takes it everywhere. She makes us smile everyday..

oh my, Daisy, I’m just crazy, over the likes of you! She’s just gorgeous, and looks quite the sweet and playful kitten. Sorry for you loss, and congrats on finding dear Daisy.
Pretty as a daisy! Thanks for sharing your baby and telling us how happy she has made you.
Daisy is a beautiful kitten, and this is a wonderful story about her, lots of detail!!! I’m glad she helped you heal after Pebbles.
Daisy! What a pretty girl! My Tansey gets attached to her toys and feeds and waters them regularly too! (lol)
Daisy’s picture (my, she does look intimidating, doesn’t she?) and your account of her have been my big laugh and smile for the day. I think even Daisy isn’t certain whether the green ball is her prey or her baby. My son’s Tiger would do that too — take his toys over for some food and drink after he had kicked the living daylights out of them.
Daisy is beautiful! I’m sorry for the loss of Pebbles.
Lalala Daisy, daisy give me your answer do…with your little green ball, here she comes with her little green ball our beautie patootie and Callie Star-kit of the day! Here, catch the little green ball & pounce too!
Daisy is a very beautiful Calico
(My favorite breed)
May you enjoy many years together
Very sweet little Daisy! My calico walks around the house with her springs. She leaves them in my bag, friend’s purse, in water dish and anywhere that her hooman mommy and her hooman friends will be.
Love her fuzzyness too!
Chey

Daisy is beautiful and I’m sure she is helping ease the pain of the loss of your kitty. Enjoy this beauty for a long time. She looks like a lot of fun.

Having a ball fUZZ
Kitty Pie!!! Well, I know Daisy has a wonderful home now. Goodness, 21 years? Wow! She is absolutely beautiful. Love those little calico clowns.
Daisy has gorgeous patchwork markings. I never knew why my cat’s favorite toy would wind up in the water bowl or food dish. It never dawned on me that she was feeding it!
I just love calicoes and the attitude that comes with them. Daisy is lovely!
How cute!!!
Daisy could be our Button (my avator), I love calicos! Pickle (Button’s sister) dumps her toys in the food bowl, drives the others mad!!
I luv Daisy, calico’s are awesome!
Daisy is a beauty and love the story!
Love, love love her markings, she’s gorgeous! Once you’ve been owned by a calico/tortie you can never be without. May you have just as many years with Daisy.
Daisy! What a lovely, playful little girl you are! Green fuzzy balls are the best toys, didn’t you know? Soon you’ll all want one.
Daisy is beautiful! Hope you enjoy many years with her. Please give her a big hug for me. Very sorry for your loss.
What a character Daisy is and so pretty too. I loved your indepth post about Daisy too. I never had heard of a kitten/cat that fed and watered their toys never mind that seems fairly common. This indeed is a spunky girl and reminds me of a special calico foster kitty I had in more ways than one. Many happy purr-fect years with all of your kitties! Please give Daisy a petting from me.
How sweet that she takes care of her “baby”!
What a pretty kitty Daisy is! I’m sorry to hear about Pebbles
(21 years is quite impressive, though!), though I’m glad you’ve opened up your home and heart to another four-legged friend.
Daisy’s face markings give her a cutie devil-may-care look. I’m so glad she and you found her furever home!
Daisy is adorable. Hope you have many happy long years with her. Sorry to read of your Pebbles, but take comfort that she had a long happy life with you.
Daisy is so cute! This picture makes me laugh.
What a sweet face your little Daisy has! My guess is that the green ball is her baby…enjoy those calico antics!
I love her story about how she carries the green ball around. Thanks for sharing her with us and may you have many wonderful years together.
I’m glad you found Daisy when you needed her. May she and her green ball be with you for a long time!
Oh Daisy looks remarkably similar to my sweet Triscuit. What a love.
Daisy is beautiful and looks like a fun and lovey baby. We had a male tabby that used to carry around his “White Bear” in his mouth and drop it in the food bowl as well. He did this for years and he loved him until the end. Such a funny thing.
