Monty, Elvis & Maggie
Location: St Clare Shores, Michigan, USA

Meet Monty, Elvis & Maggie. They and their brother Homer (not pictured) were part of a litter of kittens born to a stray cat in my garage in the middle of February. I caught and raised momma and the babies until they were old enough to go to happy homes, including momma. I still get to see them once in a while since they were adopted by friends and family members. I did keep Maggie; or rather she adopted me and joined my other cats – 15 & 13 years of age. It was an adjustment at first adding a new cat into the household, but well worth it.

Honeyface
Location: Newport, Pennsylvania, USA

Our little siamese kitten Honeyface was adopted at seven weeks from a local rescue organization – and you can tell how she got her name! She had a stubborn case of ringworm for the first six months but now she is healthy, carefree and stealing everyone’s hearts.

Thumper
Location: Thornton, Colorado, USA

Thumper is our new baby boy. He is a purebred Ragdoll kitten, and has the sweetest disposition ever! Ragdolls get their names because when you pick them up, they tend to go limp like a ragdoll. And Thumper certainly lives up to the breed’s name! He loves to be held and cuddled by his humans, and he loves to play with his big kitty brother. He’s still not too sure about the dogs at this point. He was born on the 4th of July, 2010, and at six weeks is almost all the way potty trained. He sleeps curled up with us in our bed, and when he’s not sleeping, he loves to hunt our feet and toes… pouncing on them and chewing them when we’re not looking! He is the sweetest kitty we have ever owned — we don’t know what we would ever do without him!

Squeaky
Location: Seal Beach, California, USA

Hello! I have this name because my voice is low but it works well for getting me milk. I used to be an outdoor kitty but found inside is nicer – more food and sleeping is much better! With a loud purr, I can even get baby food (beef), which is my favorite because I’m still little. Thanks for looking!

Reilly, Pluto, Blossom, & Willy
Location: Sparks, Maryland, USA

These four kittens were a litter from a stray cat who had them in a friend’s back yard. It was very hot (record heat) the day they were picked up. The kittens were sleeping in a water puddle trying to stay cool. After a bath, a trip to the vet, a few shots, and de-fleaing….the kittens are now together in their forever home.

Kalifa
Location: Lahti, Finland

Until this summer I’ve always felt a little void spot in my heart for never having a little furry companion in my life to grow up with. Allergies in family, apartments with pets not allowed in. But finally, after waiting nearly twenty years, little Kalifa found her way into me and my partner’s life this July. She’s part Norwegian forest cat, full of mischief and open friendliness, and never have our days been filled with more adventures and silliness. She’s everything and more I could’ve ever asked for, and hopefully our adventure together will be a long, happy one.

Darwin
Location: Westmont, Illinois, USA

This is our kitten Darwin, who was with us for only one week before he died. He was only eight weeks old, and too young to be fully immunized. He was very energetic and playful, but he caught a viral infection and eventually stopped eating. After a few days in the animal hospital, he passed away. We still have fond memories of him. This is the last picture we took of him
