My cat gave birth to six kittens, but she sadly passed away the next day. I raised all six kittens, and gave them to loving homes, but kept Julius for myself. Because she was raised by me, Jules is my little buddy, and she follows me around the house all day and cries when I am gone. Thankfully, I kept one of her brothers too, so they have each other for company. Jules loves to have her belly rubbed, to lay in the sun and to chase lizards. I am so glad she is my friend.

Funny, when I adopted my orange tiger cat 9 years ago, his name was Julius. Now I call him OJ. He’s my best friend, sleeps on my lap every night and he too loves to chase lizards! He normally brings me a lizard on Mother’s Day (he was off one day this year, he brought me a lizard the day before). What a guy!

You are so lucky to have such a good friend in Jules! I’m sorry mama passed away; it sounds like she would be very proud of you for raising her babies and finding loving homes for them. This is a fantastic picture of sweet Julius – she is beautiful! Hope you submitted a picture of her brother.

What a little sweetie Julius is. So sorry to hear about the kittens’ mama. Bless you for raising all her babies as that is no easy job yet I would imagine very rewarding. I’ve wanted to be a surrogate mama to a kitten along with the other cat rescues I have done. She loves her Mama very much. Many happy love filled years with Julius and her brother!

This is just the kind of kitten I want: sweet-looking, extremely pretty, pink-nosed, and eager to follow me around the house! Julius and her siblings are lucky you took care of them after their poor mother died. Hope you all have a long, happy time together!
