    Tequilla

Tequila was a recue baby – got her two years ago at a gardening centre. The kind people there wanted to help her, but had no idea how to take care of a four week old kitten. The plan was to foster her until she was old enough to be adopted… Two years later the little terror is still here, I just could not let her go!

    Silverbelle & Sanskrit

Silverbelle and Sanskrit are best friends and love spending all of their time together! We adopted Silverbelle from a rescue organization in September along with her “sister,” Coppertone. Unfortunately Coppertone had FIP and her life ended just two short weeks after we adopted the girls. Sanskrit came into our lives in October after we adopted him from the same rescue group. Silverbelle and Sanskrit have gotten along famously despite their 4 month age difference.

This is a photo of them engaging in one of their favorite activities: backyard bird watching!

    BB

BB was found abandoned in a parking lot almost directly after birth. After months of raising and feeding and all the other methods of raising a bottle baby, he is a big kitty and loves his ‘mama’ more than anything :)

    McDuff and Clancy

This is Mac and Clancy when they were two months old. They are now four months and have more than doubled their weight. I have 4 other cats and they all get along great. At first I don’t think the other cats knew what they were, they were so small. I went to get one for my wife for Christmas and ended up taking his litter-mate, because he would have been left alone. I’m glad I did because they are very close to eachother.

    Alice

My cat Alice was born on September 20 2010. My mom brought Alice home to me two days before Halloween and Alice was my Halloween pressent. I fell in love with Alice as soon as I saw her, she was a fluffy little black fur ball and she was so adorable. My mom met with us at my nanny’s house and that is were she gave me Alice. As soon as we got home from my nanny’s house Alice jumped out of my hands and started to climb the walls and that was when me and my mom realized that she loved the house and us. About two days after I got Alice she was sleeping with me and playing catch with me. I got Alice a little laser toy and we started playing with it Alice was the best I love her right now Alice is one year and six weeks old she is the best cat ever and I love her so much. I will always love and protect Alice, I will never let her go. Alice is an indoor cat and she has a good personality and it will never change I love Alice.

    Hawk

Hawk is a farm cat born in early May 2011. He is one of five siblings and an adopted sister who grew up together. Each kitten has completely different markings. Hawk and one of his sisters have long hair, the rest have short hair. Hawks mother, Murphy, is an excellent mouser and has passed her skills on to her kittens. We are looking forward to having Hawk patrol the farm for a long time!

  • Leeloo

    Location: St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada

    Leeloo

This is Leeloominaï Lekatariba Lamina-Tchaï Ekbat De Sebat, or Leeloo for short. November 20th was Pet Adoption Day where we live, and my girlfriend and I were looking for a new kitten. We went to the Pet Adoption Fair to see what they had to offer and we were referred to Human Services to take a look at a selection of former strays up for adoption. A lady visiting the shelter was holding approx. Five-month-old Leeloo (then known as Ellie Mae) and handed her to us; she was exceptionally friendly and climbed all over us–we decided we had to adopt her, and two days later she was ours! She’s hot and cold between sweetheart and troublemaker since we adopted her but we love her all the same. In her calmer moods she likes to climb up on people, collapse, and purr!
