Location: Perth, Western Australia
Topaz was one of eight orphans we hand raised after her mum was mauled by a dog and had to be put to sleep. The lady that owned her didnt have time to look after the kittens so my neighbour and I took turns looking after them. They are now nine weeks old and very healthy. Topaz’s little blob on her left hand side has turned into a heart and I thought you might like her picture.

That heart marking on Topaz is extraordinary – it almost looks photoshopped. She is a darling kitten with an alert expression.

Topaz is beautiful!!! Love the heart!!! Kisses and hugs for her! And to you for taking care of 8 babies. I’ve done it. Not easy but so rewarding. Eventually my Samoyed joined in and helped with the cleanup and baths.
