Location: Sao Paolo, Brazil
My husband and I are missionaries in Brazil. We were at a birthday party in a small clubhouse. All of a sudden, this tiny little kitten crawls out from underneath the refrigerator. He came over to me and then crawled back under. A few minutes later, he crawled back out and chose me again. I picked him up not knowing if he belonged to anyone. I asked all the kids playing around the complex if he belonged to them. No one claimed him, so I did! Our vet said he was about four weeks old and way underweight. When we found out that he was a boy, we named him Patches because of his eyes. He’s now a healthy, thriving five month old! We love, love, love him! He keeps us in stitches!
