Location: Boca Raton, Florida, USA
This is Glen Sr. Glen belonged to a friend’s daughter who had to move back home for a while and couldn’t take the kitten with her. I agreed to keep him until she got back on her feet. I ended up taking him to my boyfriend’s house, as my own cats were unhappy about having him in the house. His favorite pastimes were hunting lizards on the patio, and sleeping in the sink.
After a month or so, Glen Sr.’s mom found a place to live and my boyfriend was so sad to see him go that I spent hours on Petfinder looking for another 10 month-old orange kitten for him. We found and adopted Glen Jr. who happened to be a 10-month old orangie, too.

Thanks to your boyfriend for taking in a kitten who needed a temporary home. I’m sure Glen was sad to leave by happy to return to his momma. And now another kitten is rescued because of it.

Love orange tiger boys! My OJ is 11 years old now and he too loves to eat lizards! They sneak into the garage and OJ is always on “lizard patrol”!! OJ loved to sit in the sink, but he’s too big for that now. So it must be a orange tiger thing! Wishing Glen Sr. and Glen Jr. many, many happy years of kitty love in Boca (great place to live)!!

Glen Sr. has the adorable Orangie expression “I love and I am loved…now let’s play.” I’m so glad your boyfriend gave him a temporary home and I’m glad he was able to return to his momma. As catlessinto said “a wee orangie was rescued.” Orangie guys are the most affectionate and generous with head bonks. Many happy times with Mr. Glen Jr.

Glenn Sr. has a look of wisdom about him. I hope you & your bf get to visit with him from time to time. I think it is wonderful that Glenn Sr converted your bf into a cat lover. All the best to both Glenns.
