This was the first night I brought home Miss Roxy. We were two girls all alone in a big, new city and she was my first "child". I loved coming home every day and seeing her black and white smudgie face waiting for me by the door. A maintenance man in our building told me that when he would walk past my front door, he would see a white paw suddenly stick out from under the door and start waving… like Roxy was beckoning him to come play with her! To this day, she knows my footsteps and the sound of my keys and will be flopped on her back, showing her tummy by the time I walk inside.

Looks like Roxy Anne settled into her new home like a pro…nap time! I love her bits of tabby and her little pink toes. It would be so adorable to see a little white paw under the door saying “I know you’re there, come play!”

Occasionally one of our kitties will get behind a door and wave his or her paw… they LOVE it when you play “touch the pad” and “Get the finger” with them!
Roxy is too cute. I am so glad you ladies have each other & are best of friends. I wish you both much happiness! My three furbabes wave their paws in agreement!
I just want to cuddle Miss Roxy! She is a little doll and I can imagine how nice it is to come home to a soft, white belly that’s ready for snorgling. Many happy, loving times ahead.

I used to babysit a cat who could recognize her owner’s car when it came down our busy street.
Oh now she is adorable! My cats recognise both my partners and my car. So sweet to see them sitting on the stairs waiting for fuss once the front door is open. I hope you have many cuddles together.
I think cats hear the sound only our cars makes and pop into the window, or wait by the door for us. Are they great or what? Miss Roxy has incredibly lovely markings. What a little treasure.
