Location: New Braunfels, Texas, USA
This is Nips, fourth of a litter of five who were born in our apartment parking lot. My husband and I trapped each of the kittens and took them to a no-kill shelter, but Nips here bit me (hence the name) the first night we had her, so she had to go into rabies quarantine. We didn’t have the money for that, but my friends on the best online knitting forum EVER donated the money. The shelter wouldn’t take her with "a history of biting", so we took her home to foster. It’s been a month now, and we’ve finally admitted that she’s here to stay!
