Location: Amsterdam, the Netherlands
This is my turtoiseshell Maja, when she was just one month old. This was the first time I saw her, at the house where she was born. She was the cheekiest and largest kitten of the litter. When she was nine weeks old, I could bring her home with me, where she met my other cat Joep (large and black). He turned out to be a very caring “big brother”. Now, almost five years later, they still love to sleep together and groom each other. But Maja, being a real tortie, rules the house!
