Badger

Location: Albion, Pennsylvania, USA

BadgerThis is Badger. He’s cute & adorable & he knows it. He was born last June & was adopted from the local Human Society when he was two months old. He was so tiny & so scared. It seems like he has been a member of the family forever. His favorite game is hide & seek.

Hi, Judi. Alex is a young girl (about 11 years old?)who used to post on this site. She became, and still is, a part of the TDK family. We urged her to let her dad know that she was posting on this site. She did and he told her she could not post…..but she can still look. So each day we say “Hi, Alex” and share our thoughts about today’s kitten with her.

Hi, Alex!! I hope you enjoyed Mother’s Day yesterday. Have a great day at school today. :-)

Alex is a girl. She used Alex as her screen name because her computer teacher told her not to use her real name online so she would be safe. However, when we started referring to her as “he” she was quick to tell us that she is a girl and her real name is Alexis. I know she would want you to know that. :-)

IT IS A HAPPY MONDAY AFTER ALL!!!

I nearly panicked when I started reading yesterday’s posts this morning. I thought I’d lost my flight lead! Thanks for the smiley and for knowing I still have my (right) wingman position!

Also, kudos to Intuition for being woman enough to tell it like it is, and to you to be willing to listen. I had to do that with my husband a couple of weeks ago. He had chewed out my daughter for something she had done (or, more likely, not done) and she began to cry. He got even more upset telling her he didn’t understand why she was crying when his 15-year-old students didn’t. Later, when he was calmer, I explained that my daughter cried because, unlike his students, she actually gave a d**m what he thought! After that, he went to apologize, and had a happy ending.

All’s well that ends well.

Naah, she had a bad experience her first time playing team softball (overly-aggressive coach), and now refuses to have anything to do with a ball and a bat. She loves swimming and cross-country (excels at both), managed the volleyball and basketball teams this year (at the invite of the women’s AD–a difficult person to impress, yet she did it), and does track, does it well, but does not enjoy it (she took this year off track because the trach. scar is still giving her grief and we can’t consider corrective surgery until June, when a year has passed).
