I had a 2 week vacation and tried to stay away from the computer. Now I am red & burned and full of mosquito bites.

Here’s your orange bun, plus I’m sending you some cooling aloe gel for the sunburn and some Benadryl liquid for the mosquito bites. I know all too well about those mosquito bites. The little bloodsuckers just love me to death. They bite me before they bite anyone else! I have tried everything for relief from the itching, nothing ever worked until I tried the Benadryl liquid, it comes in a cream also, I believe. Glad to hear from you and hope you enjoyed your vacation, although you probably could of done without the sunburn and bites.

I was at the bank yesterday depositing my unemployment check and hubby called and asked me to go to Peet’s (coffee house) to get him a latte. I was happy to do it since he has done it for me a number of times. I happily discovered a lovely drink made with Scharfenberger chocolate. It is a coffee drink blended with ice and the chocolate to make it kind of like an iced coffee with chocolate shake aka mocha shake. Absolutely delicious! There were little pieces of coffee grounds so I got a nice little zing each time I bit into one. Yummy!!!!!! Going back for another one soon and in a larger size.

Renee, thank you. My four babies are now 5 weeks old and sweet and cute and so funny. They are using the litter box like big kids, learned to use the turbo, climb mountains, wrestle, dance sideways and on and on. At least one of the boys, Bean, is going to be a great lap cat and lover boy. Love my time with them. I am doing very well thank you. Feel better than I have since the accident in 2002.

Susie - Thank goodness for the bigger fish. If the job isn’t to far I think I would chance it. Just do as Mom to Tiga suggested.

Sox’s Mom - Met with the group and will see them again tomorrow. Nice ladies that spend their time and money to help as many as possible. Also offered me free food and said I can get financial help with spay/neuter from the local PAWS. Talked to the lady that does the most TNR and she will help me with Himmi. I’ll talk to her again tomorrow. I will be doing Sunday and Wednesday at the Pet Store where they have a big cage 24/7.

Himmi came last evening at approx 7:30 and ate, came again this morning at 7:30 and this evening at 7:45. Now I just need him to stay on schedule so this lady will know best time to arrive. He is here again at 8:55 eating more. I am ducking so he doesn’t see me in the window and get scared away. Good appetite today, he just ate a 5.5 oz. can of Friskies Salmon dinner and ate half can an hour ago. He’s gone again, making his rounds.

–Elene–I’m so glad to hear Himmy’s come back & eating like a horse. I have a big one the neighbor decided to abandon(I named him Booty). It’s not unusual for him to eat a can & a half of friskies each feeding. But he eats very little kibble because of an apparent tooth problem. I’m going to start him on antibiotics also.

As for the bigger fishtoo-yeah-a friend told me just drive while it’s still light out. While he’s off duty.

Susie, you get that feeling because you ARE truly making a difference the their lives! I’m SO glad you and you too Elene, have hooked up with established groups. You both deserve the support. Elene, I’m estatic about your experience today. Now as you get help with the expenses, and physical and emotional support too, you can start having the rest of your life back. The Himmie is doing so well, Elene, you are right, miracles happen!
