Hi everyone,is there an adult beverage in that coffee? Also I’m strongarming control of the very cute baby Gerrard for some kitten kisses and antics. Had very bad weekend and cats at shelter were put to sleep over weekend. Trying my best to deal.

    –Marsha–
I would find a lawyer before the shock set in. It sounds like someone strong-armed you out of your cats,& illegally at that.
If it were my animals, someone would be going down. The first would be the ex,or whoever signed the consent to take them illegally in the first place.

:( And Extreme Hugs & Prayers for your loss :(

This is true, if you paid the medical bills and your name is down as owner at the vet then he had no legal right to sign the consent. The person at the shelter was out of line and uncooperative. Find that lawyer-go to legal aide if you have to-and sue for emotional distress and to have that law changed. This should not happen to anyone else-EVER! The laws for each township are different so find out through city ordinences what the specific laws are for your area. Don’t let this go, we know you are emotionally exausted and perhaps crippled, but don’t let this tragedy become the life style of this person. If the law was broken in this, he should pay. You might be able to get him on cruelty to animals, or abuse charges. Having your animals killed is abuse as far as I’m concerned! Love and peace to you, strength and healing too.

Marsha I am so sorry to hear this. My prayers for you will always continue. This is almost beyond heartbreaking. Please get help–do not do this alone. So many are here to support you and have given you places to start to look for help. I know you are a strong person but there are times when one needs others to lend a hand. My prayers will be with you–that is the help I know I can give you. You are loved.

Marsha how awful for you! I don’t know what to say, it makes me so sad to think anyone could be that cruel and heartless. That *&%#@ is going to have the karma payback of Hitler! And I’d add my own bit of nasty to it if I could, perhaps a bad rash in a very ugly spot. The kind that has boils and itchy-burns all the time. But maybe his biggest curse is that he no longer has a loving and caring person like you in his life. My deepest heart felt sympathies and my boys send purrs and head bonks too.

Marsha, I am so sorry about your cats. I can’t even put into words how I’m hurting for you. I even asked my boss if I could have 2 days off… next Monday and Tuesday so I could come and help you.
I am so shocked that the “Animal” in charge of your Animal Control would put those cats down considering there were people interested in your babies!
If you ever need to talk, please email me.
I would also look into hiring a lawyer and I’d make a real big stink over this, too! If you need ANYTHING, please let me know.

This tuxi could be Sylvester’s brother. Sylvester’s sister had a stripe on her face. I wanted to adopt her with him but someone got her first. Still considering another one.

No word yet on the two companies. Boy it sure takes a lot of time to check references. Hope I hear something good today from Merrill Lynch.

My strongest sympathies; I really wished we lived closer to one another so I could help you deal with relentless bureauocracies (It is what I do best). I feel so powerless (I can imagine how you must feel as well). Keep your chin up, take solace from the babies you have with you, things can only get better (a cliche, but sometmes they are comforting). All my prayers-
