Quick, have some chocolate! Rest your head on this pillow and munch on some chocolate till you feel better. Take as long as you want; I can’t risk you getting up too soon. Gaze at Nico while you’re still laying down. Getting better?

Sorry forgot to say good morning, good afternoon and if I don’t see you later good evening (you would know that line from the Truman Show).

Hope all of you had a nice Father’s Day. I sent my dad a real live card and e-card and then I called him. I will be seeing him next weekend. Off to sign up with another employment agency and then to a job interview at a bank. Thinking of calling the Regional Managing Director to notify him of the poor professional behavior at ML. Hubby thinks I should just let it go but I feel the need to let them know I was treated shabbily. Oh well. On to bigger and better things anyways.

Hi Karin - So sorry that ML have treated you so poorly! However, like others have said, it just means that that was not the right job for you and that something better will come along! I know that turned out to be true for me when I graduated from university. I desperately wanted a job with this one company and did get an interview, but was not hired. I was so depressed. But in the end the job I got was really so much better I’m glad it worked out the way it did. Funnily enough, I’ve found that showing annoyance with a prospective employer is not necessarily a bad thing! Once I was able to bring attention to myself when I complained to a company that they should not be advertising jobs and then sending letters to applicants stating that they had no openings, and another I actually got annoyed during an interview - and I got an offer! You just never can tell!

Karin don’t burn your bridges with ML you never know when another job with them would open and be perfect for you. If you tell off someone from that company they could end working for the next company you are interviewing with. It is hard to just swollow your justified anger but you never know what the future holds keep on the high road.

I agree with Susan. My daughter and her dept were recently laid off with no warning whatsoever. Pick up your things and leae. You were great but…Now she’s working for a sister company at much higher pay less than a month later. As Susan says, stick to the high road. And you know why? Because we at TDK know how awesome you really are!

Too late…I sent off an email to the Managing Director. I told hubby…I won’t ever get a job at ML now and I don’t want one from them so no worries. Anyways I prefer a good job that pays a decent wage and where I am valued. That wouldn’t have happened at ML with them paying $10k below my asking price and two of the Financial Advisors showing attitudes/egos. Not my cup of tea anymore! Phone heating up today. Interviews everyday M-Thur! Three tomorrow - one at an agency, one is a phone interview and the third is at Genentech for a temp position.

He just looks so wore out, I feel so bad for him….that look on his face when I walk up to him with a tissue to wipe his nose is pityful…

Thank you everyone, you guys mean the world to me!

Just got off the phone with my vet and since his nose is running only on one side, it could be a sign of a tumor in this sinuses eventhough it looks like a sinus infection. My options are to try some different antibiotics (which I chose) or to have his sinuses scoped. Not sure, at his age, I want to put him through all that. Please keep your fingers crossed these next antibiotics clear him all up…….I don’t want to let him go, and cannot afford the scope, and if they find something the radiation treatments….Thank you everyone for all your thoughts and prayers.

It may look like a sinus infection, but it could be a fungal infection. I know scoping is expensive, but consider having the vet culture some of the material first, or at least look at it under a microscope, to get a better idea of what you’re dealing with.

Headbonks and prayers are sent in your direction.

LeeAnne in FL………..One of my kits had the same illness as Kittyman……Two weeks on Clavamox, found no relief or improvement. My vet also mentioned the possibility of a sinus tumor. I went another round of meds, this time Baytril. After one dose, there was remarkable improvement. And in a few days, it had taken care of the problem. It’s pretty scary when the word tumor comes up. Hope Kittyman does well with the new meds.

Zithromax helped my Phoebe with her chronic nasal infection. I don’t know the generic name, but the vet should recognize it. She had two rounds of treatment with her horrible snotty nose and she has been free of any symptoms for nearly a year now. I would always bring her into the bathroom when we showered or bathed, too as the warm moist air was good for her. Now I can’t take a bath without her “assisting” me!

The vet said she was calling in Zithromax for him and said I should start seeing improvement right away if its just a bad infection. God I hope that’s all it is….Ever so grateful for all your encouraging comments…..
