Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Litter
Location: Iowa, USA
Girl “orangies” are rare? I was shocked to get FIVE in this litter. First in line are three of the Maine Coon girls — Pumpkin, Ginger, and Peaches — and then the two boys Sargeant Pepper and Senor Habenero. The other two girls, Talulah and Cayenne, wouldn’t fit. All of them were adopted as much loved pets by my friends.

A Swoop and a STEAL!!
I’m third anyway. Now let me take a look at these beauties.
Aren’t they beautiful?? I’d like to have them all.
So sweet! Never saw orange Maine Coons before.
A grown orange cat that looks like these just adopted me a few weeks ago. I was wondering what kind of cat this was? These babies are so cute! I never had an orange cat before. Or a male cat for that matter. He is already fixed and took over the house. My tortie gets along fine with him. He is a very loving cat and follows me all over. He must have looked like this as a baby?
Huddy’s Mama’s refresh button is awfully fast this morning!
Well there’s another secret that goes WITH the refresh button, but I can’t give that one away or I’d never be first AGAINE!
I know what it is…..two windows open at the same time, right? Muwahahaha…I’ve done that before!
Nope! Good idea though!
HM, can I borrow the little dark one for a while to cuddle? The bobster is with me at work today, but he’s being bad and doesn’t want to hug! The boss just picked him up and Bob slapped him in the face with his paw!
LMAO at Bob!!
Yes you can take the little dark one. There’s more than enough to share!
Thanks!
AWWWWWWW
pleeeease… just one… one and I’ll be silent and still…

So fuzzy and alert! The kittens, that is, though I’m sure some TDKers are, too.
Psstt…. HM, I’ll give you a five spot for the two on the far right (one for me, one for the wife)
Ok, but keep the 5 spot. I’m all about doing good deeds lately. Yesterday a guy asked me to sell him 2 AA batteries (he saw me changing mine in my CD player) and I just gave them to him.
It’s good karma, ya know.
*brings other kitties to the sharing circle*
They’re too precious just to keep to myself.
must … cuddle …
Thanks for sharing. Don’t forget the two not pictured!
i imagine five is hard to fit into a backpack. You’d need a suitcase, really.
I actually have a HUGE rolling duffle!
OK-I SAY AGAIN–WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH HUDDY’S MAMA???????
Shhhhhhhhhh….have you forgotten the ‘false sense of security?’
I’ll give a pound of extra crispy bacon and a steak if HM will share some of the kittens. Patricularly Seargent Pepper
I AM sharing ppearson!!
Thank you! Sharing is caring and today I am sharing bacon!
These are (were) my kitties! Parents — sire: American Gothic Saratoga of Riverbend (Booger), red classic male — queen: Riverbend Casino Belle (Cassie) McTortie female. All are doing well and thriving in their loving homes from coast to coast in the USA — from Washington (state) to Urbana, IA to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Most of them, I gave to friends. I am so pleased to see my babies on the TDK! Thank you, Kittenmaster!
You were lucky to have them, CatRancher - and they were lucky to have you - and happy forever homes now.
I just don’t think I would have beem strong enough to give them all away. What a load of fun they must have been!
CatRancher,
Wonderful, beautiful. I can’t think of enough good words for the beautiful kitties. I love orangies. My nefew has a Maine Coone and I love Luke. Wish I could take all of them. Thanks for giving me a smile today.
They are absolutely beautiful babies. Thank you for sharing them with us! How old are they all now?
Awwwww….they are beautiful. Was it hard to give them up? I don’t know if I’d be able to. So adorable.
When I saw they were Maine Coons, I thought they might be yours. Totally, absolutely adorable, all of them!
Awww, how lucky to get all those fluffy, colorful kitties! I love the names! They’re so creative (I’m historically terrible at coming up with cat names - usually ends up “Mr. Kitty”), especially the boys’ names. I just might take a page from your book when I get my kitty.
Gorgeous. I have an orangie Maine Coon with white feet named Maggie Monster. As pretty as they are, they have even more impressive personalities. (Wish I were one of your neighbors!)
pounce! Good Morning TDK’ers
Gmorning FondaHonda - how’s the weather up there?
Rain, rain, and then more rain! The only good thing about it is that the temps. haven’t been as hot as usual.
You take care and stay dry! At least you get a break from the heat.
So you’re floating away, too, huh? I saw a sign on my way to work this morning that said flooding was possible through Sunday.
You guys be careful and safe out there…..
“Tonight’s forecast: Dark. Continued mostly dark with widely scattered light in the morning.”
Main Coons!!! My favorite!!! Such wonderful cats - lovely picture too. I suck my friends Main Coons ear
you what??
I’m understanding this correctly?
I don’t understand either Pipa’s mum–it’s not a language thing!
I think she means she sucks the ear of her friend’s Maine Coon. o.0 Though why she’d do that, I have no idea.
Ah, yes, terrible spelling, my apologies - Maine Coon
I don’t think that is what Pipa’s mom meant….lol.
You suck his ear? Maybe more info than we need to know
lol, just kidding.
Yes I figured that would sound weird after I posted it… Got a little excited. Forgot it’s morning over there for a lot of you. I’m a little hyperactive at work at the moment.
lol!
you are in my timeline… (Spain)
and even so I don’t suck kitties ears!
Yea, but your Spanish so maybe that makes a difference
You should try it, quite therapeutic actually, and obviously on the understanding that the kitty in question doesn’t mind.
Not the WHOLE ear of course, just the fluffy Lynx tips.
yeah but, you don’t know where those lynx tips have been………a little concerned there Jessica UK…..
Have a set of meezers myself… maybe if I go suck their ear they decide to rearange my face..
Awwch!
Hi Pipa’s Mum -
My Coon, Jiggs, would rip my face off if I tried that. He barely tolerates brushing. Oh, and the grey/white/tan guy in today’s littler looks like Jiggs when he was a baby.
I’m lovin’ these batches of kittens this week. It has been a very long time since there’s been a kitten in my house and I haven’t lived with a litter of kittens since I was a little girl. In many ways I’m still a little girl trapped in a 43 year old body.
But Joan!
Stadisticly to be in your fourties in this century is considered by far the best age for women!
You actually still are a little girl silly!
Remember–50 is the new 30!
Which can only mean…
That I am 31 going on 11!!!
MOOOOOOOOOOM!
So what do y’all want to do now? Should we sell lemonade, skip down the street, ride bikes with baskets on the front that we can put kitties in…
I “wash” my Desdemona’s face, by licking my finger and brushing it over her face. I find nothing strange in ear-sucking at all. I would do it if my cats would allow such familiarity.
A couple of years ago, I took a trip to Spain for three whole weeks, and when I returned I was so overwhelmed with love and adoration that I almost started licking all of them. It was a close call-
Yes!!! Yes, yes, yes, yes….
YES!
I’m game!
Anyone else wants to come out to play? Let me get my braids tied up and I’m with you all the way!
Yay, someone in defense of kitteh ear sucking
I nibble on their little ears, too!
No Mini Me, we do not eat our kitties.
lol!
one of these days i’m gonna have to quit lurking. i love you guys! you make me laugh out loud. my old silver muted tortoise Funny Face thinks i’m losing it…
This is a good start, Liza.
SQUEEEEEEEE! More bunches of babies! Scoop them up, yes we does…..(but we’ll share)
Heavens to Betsy I am speachless and as most of you know that is a rare as hens teeth.
Hey, share please………………………….they are just to adorable to keep all to yourself. The dark one looks like my pysco Pricilla. If they are anything alike, she will give you a run for your money. I’ll take her if you can’t handle her. NO problem.
…thud…thud…thud…thud…thud…you know, this isn’t fair seeing all these brothers and sisters and read they were all adopted out !!! makes me feel cheated !!!
Now, now…
*goes to fetch Pierce*
Pierce hon’ Cheri needs some cheering up!
Wow! I’m in orange heaven! Of course, I’m prejudiced since Redford is orange–they are the most loving and smart!
I’m still down with pneumonia, so this will be my only post today-just want to thank you all for continuing to vote for my baby–only 3 days left. Hope you all have a great day! Hugs to all and purrs from Redford and Mitzi too!

Hope you feel better real soon Rainingwolf, prayers and headbonks to you. I vote for your Redford 5 times daily, he is so handsome!
Orangies seem to be the best head bonkers as well.
Too cute!
*laughs* Mine loves to headbutt me in the face both in the morning to get me up, and at night to say “ok, I’m ready to come to bed now”. =P
Hope you are feeling better Rainingwolf. Hugs and purrs.
Feel better soon. Sorry you’re so sick.
*goes off to vote for Redford*
As my father always says “Remember, vote early and vote often!”
Get well soon. Plenty of liquids and chicken soup!!
And plenty of topical CAT application therapy!
Judy, C.A.T. Cat Application Therapy… Love it!!
A good rule to follow, Instinct and Redford got my votes for today. Feel better Rainingwolf.
Was your father a registered voter in Chicago? I have been in GA for 17 years and I am sure I am still voting in Chicago. The traffic is terrible around cemetaries on election day.
Oh Rainingwolf - I hope you are feeling better soon! Sending hugs, healing thoughts and virtual chicken soup your way!
I agree Orangies are the best head bonkers. Toby runs at you full speed ahead to do it. Thanks for all the happy thoughts sent to Toby. It worked, he was given a clean bill of health yesterday. And his ears are perfect, although there was a little nerve damage and he gets a lazy third eyelid sometimes. Redford is a beauty and Toby voted for him.
Would you all mind voting for Toby too? (different contest) he needs a little self esteem boost after his stressful few weekes.

Done! He’s such a pretty boy and goes with today’s orange theme. glad he is feeling better. Hopefully as time goes by the nerve damage will start to heal itself.
Yes, what a great pic of Toby. I’m very glad he’s feeling better.
Great photo of Toby. He looks like he has a great personality in that shot. Good luck and I am so happy he is feeling better.
Done-happy to help and glad all is better.
I just voted for him…he’s so cute!
He looks like a real clown of a cat!
I voted for the little guy! Yea!!
That’s a funny picture of Toby - he got my vote!
