Lyric, Picola, Blue, Morgan & Jack
Location: Knightdale, North Carolina, USA
This is my new batch of foster kittens. From left to right in this picture:The first black kitten is Lyric, he just mews all the time. The gray/white female is Picola, meaning tiny girl. She is very loving, a lap kitty. The beige kitten I’ve named Blue, in the hope that he keeps his blue eyes. Again, he’s very loving and I think he’ll be lap kitty too. The solid gray male is Morgan. He is very shy, timid, and a bit skittish. The last black male is Jack Sparrow. He is a terror kitty, full of energy and curiosity!
Their mom will be spayed and each of them will find their forever homes since the Johnston County Animal Protection League is a NO KILL shelter. They are only six weeks old. I will socialize them and put them up for adoption in 1 month. It is a true joy to help raise them!

POUNCE
Good Morning TDKr’s: Now Jack Sparrow is my kind of kitty. Looks like she is having a hard time keeping them together for the pic. Too cute.

One day I’ll get it… the kitties are absolute dolls… isn’t it funny how one litter can have babies that all look different.

These are some good looking kittens! I think the charcoal tux & the butterscotch one are my faves. Kitten socializer = awesome vocation
Aack!! More adorable cuties! Nice theme this week Kittenmaster. Thank you. This rounds out my week very well.
Good afternoon, KM! And whatever time of day it is for all TDK friends, good day! I second Joan’s sentiments about the kitty clusters this week. I’ve enjoyed them so much. Let’s do it again soon, ok?
GOD BLESS THE Johnston County Animal Protection League !!
Good Morning Everybody, What a cute batch of babies!!!
It would be so difficult just picking one, two, three you get the drift here.
ha ha
Picola and Blue need to come to work with me. I think we’d all be in a better mood at work with two office kittens.
There isn’t one office I can think of that wouldn’t benifit from the presence of a cat or two.
I’d whole heartedly agree. Too bad I am the only “cat” person in the office. Boo Hoo for me!
I know my morale would increase no matter what was going on with a kitten on my lap.
Kitties in libraries! I want some!
There used to be a cat in a library in San Diego. Then one day this guy brought his assistant dog in. I’m not really sure what disability the guy had, but he had a dog and so was allowed to bring it into the library. Well, the library cat didn’t like this one bit, and attacked the dog and scratched its nose. Well, the guy - AND the dog - were apparently severely traumatized by this - lives were completely messed up - so of course the guy sued! The case went on for at least a couple of years, if not more. The poor kitty went to the Bridge before it was ever settled. But eventually it got thrown out of court. Common sense does triumph in the courts on occasion!
There’s actually a wonderful Library Cat movement worldwide. A quick sniff of Google gives a map of where they can be found–here’s the URL.
http://www.ironfrog.com/catsmap.html
In deference to our canine friends, there are also reader assistance dogs up here in Maine–they’re very attentive, and little kids love reading to them.
My Redkit shows a marked preference for mysteries, herself. The more engrossing they become, the more she likes to lie across them.
My kitties love to read with their tummies too. The only problem is they prefer to read the same stuff what I am reading.
You know, wouldn’t it be great if offices could borrow a few kittens or puppies from the local shelter and host them? Eventually, somebody would get so attached that they’d officially adopt the critter, so the office goes back to the shelter and borrows another.
It’d work better for offices with a lot of people so you wouldn’t reach pet saturation too quickly and where the animals could be in a separate area so people like me with allergies wouldn’t end up with so many hives that they look like the Michelin Man.
GREAT IDEA…
Beautiful babies and such a variety of color! I would take them ALL!
OK, people, let’s get out there and vote for Redford. He’s in the lead and lets make sure he STAYS in the lead

Hi Alex!

Hi KM!
I voted for Redford. He is so handsome
I only had time to lurk yesterday
Yesterdays kittens were a truly awesome bunch and todays kittens are also beautiful. Such a mixed bunch of cuties.
Please cross your fingers for Shadow, one of my feral kitties. I noticed what appeared to be a little patch of fur missing on his back when he first came. I didnt want to scare him to death right off so I waited a couple of days. Last night I got a good look at it and it is a sore. The sore looks almost healed but when I palpitated around it, that area is swollen and mushy. Looks like little Shadow has an infection. I mixed some Baytril in his food last night and I will take him to Tom’s Town with me tomorrow and get Betty to help me reopen the wound and clean it out (yuck). I think he will be allright but with the sore almost healed the infection has probably been there awhile. Everyone else is doing good. Y’all have a great weekend! I may not have much time during the next couple of weeks except to lurk.
Bless you for taking care of that hurt baby!
–Healing prayers heading your way KITTYPAW–
Good luck to you and to Shadow!
Hi, KM! Hi, Alex!
Sending healing rays to Shadow so he gets over the infection quickly & healthily!
Sending positive energy to Shadow. Good luck with that.
Good luck to Shadow.
Purring and praying for Shadow! Ooops, there comes a load of head bonks and smooches too!

Done!
Ditto!
I got my votes in! Go, Redford! Thanks, Instinct, for the reminder.
I agree, Instinct, and
since Rainingwolf in Oregon has pneumonia and not able to adequately campaign for Redford these last 2 days of the race, we should support a fellow TDKer and spread the word so that Redford wins the race. It will help Rainingwolf in Oregon feel better. I vote my 5 votes every day. It only takes a few seconds of time, so please vote 5 times today and 5 times tomorrow. Thanks.
I voted for that pretty boy!
Duly voted. Here in Chicago, voting early and often just comes naturally!
Done! I voted! Go Redford!!!!!! Good day to all, THU..PLOOF
Redford got my fave 5 and holds a nice (but not insurmountable) lead. Let’s vote early and vote often…”It’s the Chicago way!”
We cast our votes today. Yea, Redford!
Done deal - Five more from me
HI All!!
Good afternoon KM
Hi Alex!!
What a bunch of cuties. Little Jack looks like he could hold his own with my Bogman (who doesn’t know that he’s a little cat! He thinks he’s a panther only grey!!)
Love to all and I’ll share my latte with anyone who needs the caffeine
Love, Terri
Caffeine?!?! Did someone say caffeine??
Extra caffeine this morning!!
A kindred spirit!
Did anyone say Pierce?
