Joey
Location: Port Saint John, Florida, USA

This is Joey, isn’t he cute? He is also very sweet. As soon as you touch him he starts to purrrrrrr. He’s very sociable and does not like to be left alone. This little guy is a real wall climber. He loves being on the highest point in the room. And he can actually climb right up a wall. He is about eight weeks old in this picture with his favorite toy.

Whoops! Sorry for today’s delay everyone…
That’s ok, just proves we are eager for daily kittens!!!
We forgive you, you’re so good to us with all these gorgeous kittens (hi, Joey!)
See! I told you that KM was in shock over the cuteness of todays kitten! Look at little Joey! I’d spend extra time looking at him too and forget about other things.
this isn’t a kitten - it’s a furry purr machine…that plays…
That’s okay KM. Joey is worth the wait
ohhhh so sweet - LOVE his colors!!! I just want to rub that belly!!
We were chomping at the bit and now we are raring to go! Thanks KM.
Hi Kittenmaster, and a big hello to TDKr’s.
Joey is certainly worth the wait. What a cutie - I wanna give him a nudge in the tummy! He would most likely turn his attention from his toy to attacking my hand. It’s so nice to hear stories about these kittens and their playful antics as my old boys don’t play much anymore.
Have a great day all!
Another orange boo! This one with a white pokeable belly! Kisses snorgles, wuffles, and booboos for this Joey!!
Whew–thought I’d have to check into Promises because of my TDK withdrawals. . .
Who wants me to say, “Hi!” to Lindsay?
That’s OK - Joey was worth the wait. But I was beginning to wonder if perhaps you were underwater, what with all the flooding! ;->
weeeeeeeeeeeeee..orangeeee!
Pounce!!!
I’m first
Good morning all
Good afternoon KM
Hi Alex
Happy Hump day!
How does Joey not have any comments after being online for 40 minutes? He’s a doll!
Oh, that’s ok KM. Hope everyone has a great day!
What a heart warmer!
nice kitty
*hobbles in, takes kitten, hobbles over the sharing circle*
Here, let me help HM!!
(lets HM lean on)
Thanks, sweetie
you are most welcome!!
*singing loudly*
Lean on me, when you’re not strong
And I’ll be your friend
I’ll help you carry on
For it won’t be long
‘Til I’m gonna need
Somebody to lean on…
*waves flaming pu-dao in the air*
I don’t have a lighter….
Hey Instinct! Don’t quit your day job!!!
To late
Last day is 29 days away.
WOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!
But who’s counting?
I’m counting the opposite–26 days until I go back to school. Bored stiff right now, but not quite ready to get back in the swing of things!
Five months till Christmas!! lol
I do this every 25th of the month to annoy all my co-workers who think Christmas means going broke buying stuff for their little ‘darlings.’
Suckers.
Alright! Not only do I know how many days until Labor Day (first school holiday!) I now can look forward to Christmas break. Thanks HM!
Here to serve, babe. Here to serve.
Huddy’s Mama, you’re talking Christmas?! I haven’t even had my summer vacation yet!! (Two weeks off the end of August…Yay!)
Yes ma’am. I do it all year. Everytime there’s a 25th of the month I’ll yell out “X more months till Christmas.” They may hate me for it, but I dare them to try and get me to stop.
And we count time for Halloween and St Patty’s Day.
Halloween is my favorite holiday. I can be myself and get away with it.
I agree about Halloween, too. It is the only time I can be myself also. I’ve got the wicked witch laugh down pat! I’ve actually scared a few people with it. That and the gremlin’s YUM YUM sound.
I can cluck like a chicken….
I hear that people wave their cell phones the way we held up our lighters back in the day. Sign of the times…
That’s just sad. How are you suppose to burn your fingers with a cell phone?
“Ow! Dang, Dave, I think I got a burn from my iPhones electronic radiation”
“Hush, Bob. Celine Dion isn’t finished with the song yet.”
Cellphones are indeed the new lighters, I found this out at a Foo Fighters concert sometime ago. It’s not the same.
I know we started doing it at shows in Massachusetts (and soon in NH) because of the smoking ban and the inability to light your lighter.
I also think it started out as kind of a joke and caught on with the non-smoking set who wouldn’t have a lighter.
No lighters at concerts but they’re allowed back on planes.
Good…..because the first thing I want after a flight is ALWAYS a cigarette!
first thing I want after a long flight is real food!
Not me - I take my OWN FOOD on the plane - lol.
May I help you? I have Coconut Tinderbundle here…
Extra bacon for you tonight! And the strongest pain killers in the market!
How’re you doing, HM, aside from hobbling?
I’m ok. I think I told you guys the man friend bought me an Iphone. Well, I told him to take it back - it’s just too much and it’s a money pit.
So I went and got myself the Iphone competition - the Upstage by Samsung (it’s about $200 cheaper, but I’m a good customer so I got it for $99 - lol). Anyway, I’ve been making movies of my kitties (Huddy and Sebastian anyway, Maverick wants no part of it - he’s my little oddball) with my phone camcorder, so I sit here and when I start feeling really cruddy, I just watch my kitty movies. Makes me feel much better.
Thanks for thinking of me.
That’s great HM - I wish I could watch Bob movies! I miss Bob at work, but it’s too hot to take him on the bike with me like I used to. While my brother was visiting he rented a car, so the few days I did go to wor, I was able to bring the little guy - to the boss’ delight! (Though we get nothing done when Bob’s here!)
As long as you’ve been taking him to work, I know you must miss that little baby when you can’t have him with you.
Put that baby on catster, we are all eager to see him.
*hugs to Bob*
I’m working on it!
My wish is that you are pain free soon !!!
Oh One Popoki thank you so much. I know it’s the thoughts and wishes and prayers of my TDK family that has me feeling as well as I do. You guys are the best internet family I’ve ever had. Most internet families are dysfuctional at best, but this one is totally awesome!!
Interesting problem! I hope that I can get some help from my TDK family. As you all know, my mom has been ill and I moved in with my folks to help, watch the house, the dogs, that kind of stuff. Anyways, my mom’s pomerian is a male dog type person named Bailey, and he has gender and species issues. He thinks that he is a mama cat to my little TigerButt. What do I do!!!
Is he being a sweet mama to tigerbutt? Does TigerButt mind being mothered? If TB doesn’t mind, I would just let it be? As long as no fur flys and no blood is shed, let them work out their own relationship.
My orange pom and my orange longhair think they are siamese twins who shouldn’t have been separated at the hip. If I pet one the other leans into their body so I pet both catdogs with the same hand. Maybe it’s a pom thing, but I bet there are a lot of TDKers with critters in identity crisis mode.
Click on my Catster page to see my Shih-tzu, Rowdy, who has grown up with cats and thinks that he is one. He licks both cats and they love it and clean him in return. After a little time, everything should be ok. Is he being aggressive and how is the kitty reacting?
Your Bosley and Bailey - and Rowdy too, of course - are gorgeous! Tikka has sent them a friends request.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Rowdy really does think he’s a cat. Last night, I wish I had my camera ready because all three were on their backs lined up on the floor sleeping right next to each other. As a puppy, Rowdy would try to jump onto the table so he could sleep with the cat. All I’d see is the very top of his head before he slid down to the floor.
He is cute (and cat-like). Scritches to him and your beautiful kitties!
I’m really checking in late today, but I have to say that little orange darling is precious!!! And FondaHonda, you have some beautiful animals. Love your little Rowdy!!
Todays kitten was well worth the wait. Some dogs seem to have a strong mothering instinct. My Lucy mothered Sophie they were really close and Sophie loves dogs. Now she mothers my little minpin cross. I don’t think kittens can have too much love no matter what species it is.
Thanks all!!! I always thought that little babies could use all the love they can get!!! and of course little Tigerbutt thinks that he deserves even more! I told my assistant (who happens to be male and gorgeous!!! YUM) that I was going to take Bailey to a pet pschyatrist, he told me that “I” was the crazy one if I did that. He said just let the babies (all of them) figure out who’s what in “that” part of the family!!!
Love Terri
Your assistant’s right. As long as all the pets are okay with themselves and with each other, who cares how they see their relationships? I’ve seen large dogs behave like cats, and I’ve also had cats that behaved much like dogs. As long as they aren’t hurting or annoying one another, no harm, no foul.
Take pictures!

I’ve always loved that pic!! It gets sent out in e-mails over and over, but I still think it’s cute.
Hrmh… I meant to post an example

In honor of our sweet orangie this morning, I have brought the fersh squeezed OJ. (and champagne for anyone wanting a mimosa) There are also sweet orange rolls and Cheddar cheese omelets to keep the orange theme rolling. (Its not orange, but of course some bacon for HM)
Good morning everyone!
Good afternoon KM!
Hi Alex!
Yum - mimosas and cheese omlettes! Yes please!
What a cute little orangie we have today! A real bundle of mischief!
Saver of the Day!
I’ll take a mimosa - and then I need a nap! Bob was relentless last night, wanting food, bringing me toys to play fetch with, walking around on my back and meowing in my ear. Crazy kitty!
Awwwww
*hugs to little Bob*
I will hug the Bob from you, HM. I think he misses my brother who left yesterday morning - they had some good male bonding time. Bob was laying over by the door all afternoon and evening yesterday, like he was waiting for his uncle!
I was shocked to discover that cats actually ‘miss’ people when they go. My sister comes over about once a week and every time
