    Joey

This is Joey, isn’t he cute? He is also very sweet. As soon as you touch him he starts to purrrrrrr. He’s very sociable and does not like to be left alone. This little guy is a real wall climber. He loves being on the highest point in the room. And he can actually climb right up a wall. He is about eight weeks old in this picture with his favorite toy.

Hi Kittenmaster, and a big hello to TDKr’s.
Joey is certainly worth the wait. What a cutie - I wanna give him a nudge in the tummy! He would most likely turn his attention from his toy to attacking my hand. It’s so nice to hear stories about these kittens and their playful antics as my old boys don’t play much anymore.
    Have a great day all!

Cellphones are indeed the new lighters, I found this out at a Foo Fighters concert sometime ago. It’s not the same.

    2007-07-25 16:52:55

I know we started doing it at shows in Massachusetts (and soon in NH) because of the smoking ban and the inability to light your lighter.

I also think it started out as kind of a joke and caught on with the non-smoking set who wouldn’t have a lighter.

I’m ok. I think I told you guys the man friend bought me an Iphone. Well, I told him to take it back - it’s just too much and it’s a money pit.

So I went and got myself the Iphone competition - the Upstage by Samsung (it’s about $200 cheaper, but I’m a good customer so I got it for $99 - lol). Anyway, I’ve been making movies of my kitties (Huddy and Sebastian anyway, Maverick wants no part of it - he’s my little oddball) with my phone camcorder, so I sit here and when I start feeling really cruddy, I just watch my kitty movies. Makes me feel much better.

    Thanks for thinking of me.

Interesting problem! I hope that I can get some help from my TDK family. As you all know, my mom has been ill and I moved in with my folks to help, watch the house, the dogs, that kind of stuff. Anyways, my mom’s pomerian is a male dog type person named Bailey, and he has gender and species issues. He thinks that he is a mama cat to my little TigerButt. What do I do!!!

Is he being a sweet mama to tigerbutt? Does TigerButt mind being mothered? If TB doesn’t mind, I would just let it be? As long as no fur flys and no blood is shed, let them work out their own relationship.

My orange pom and my orange longhair think they are siamese twins who shouldn’t have been separated at the hip. If I pet one the other leans into their body so I pet both catdogs with the same hand. Maybe it’s a pom thing, but I bet there are a lot of TDKers with critters in identity crisis mode.

Last night, I wish I had my camera ready because all three were on their backs lined up on the floor sleeping right next to each other. As a puppy, Rowdy would try to jump onto the table so he could sleep with the cat. All I’d see is the very top of his head before he slid down to the floor.

Todays kitten was well worth the wait. Some dogs seem to have a strong mothering instinct. My Lucy mothered Sophie they were really close and Sophie loves dogs. Now she mothers my little minpin cross. I don’t think kittens can have too much love no matter what species it is.

I told my assistant (who happens to be male and gorgeous!!! YUM) that I was going to take Bailey to a pet pschyatrist, he told me that “I” was the crazy one if I did that. He said just let the babies (all of them) figure out who’s what in “that” part of the family!!!

Your assistant’s right. As long as all the pets are okay with themselves and with each other, who cares how they see their relationships? I’ve seen large dogs behave like cats, and I’ve also had cats that behaved much like dogs. As long as they aren’t hurting or annoying one another, no harm, no foul.
