Good Morning Huddy’s mama!
I enjoyed reading about your adventure to Philly yesterday. Wow, I am so happy your man friend had such a nice time! Who was in the concert?
Oh he was sweet as sugar when I made it home last night. Sat in my lap all night and slept with mama. He was crying in the window when I left for work this morning, so all is forgiven.
Hi Bumblebee -
I’m about an hour or so from you, in north Jersey. We usually head out to the Crossings (yes, hubby actually likes to go there!) in Tannersville around October to do some Christmas shopping. His parents used to have a trailer there. The area is getting quite built up, but it’s still beautiful and a nice ride.
Hey Joan,
The crossings aren’t very fsr from me! I have gone there too.
I have friends in Sussex in N. NJ as well. I visit once in awhile. Are you near there?
Yes, unfortunately it has gotten very built up here. I moved up here from NJ in ‘88.
Bumblebee of PA and Missy-PA, I find it interesting when TDKrs say where they are from. I get out my US road atlas and go hunting for places, populations etc. Broaden my horizons.
Hi, Mary Lynn, I live in Doylestown. I know where Penndel is! How long have you been in VA? Do you come back to visit much! Good chatting. Hugs and Purrs, Lynn
Cool, Arcalian! I am a transplant for the last 11 years, however, I was born and raised in the Lansdale, Hatfield area which is only 20 minutes to a half hour from here. So yeah, I am local. This is too crazy for words.
Missy, what are your thinking??? Hugs and Purrs, Lynn
Sorry Catherine if i could share i would. Texas huh use to live in Texas when i was about 13 years old. loved the hot weather there too. but would take the cold weather any day of the week.
Sorry I’m late with the latte. They were working on the A/C in our building this morning so they had all employees come in late. They were hoping to have it fixed and cool by 9:30 or so, but nope, still hot. So here are the well iced lattes with double shots of espresso and whipped cream on top! Add cinnamon sprinkles to look like little Mojo’s nose!
Big all hands meeting at my temp job here today…layoffs are looming. I spoke with the lady who is helping with my training on the job. She is located in Thousand Oaks down by Los Angeles. She informed me that she got the “voluntary package notice” which is they take that and leave earlier than planned or she refuses it and is put on the layoff list which I guess they decide if she is to stay or go. She has till Sept 9th to make her decision. Tough since she has been with the company five years or so.
I have my two interviews today…one at 3pm and one at 5pm so I will have an hour to wander around the hotel where they are holding all their interviews. Think positive. Would be cool to be back in high tech industry. Salary sounds decent and they have a bonus plan that where they pay up to 20% of salary in two payments depending on your performance of course. So you would get one payment in July (in time for b-day) and one Dec (in time for Christmas).
Karen, I am sending so many positive thoughts in your direction this afternoon. You can do this! You are the Pro from Dover and they would be LUCKY to have you on staff. Good luck!!!!!
Would you get a free Nintendo Wii as a signing bonus? Went to a Wii party last night and had a great time!
Hey all…your positive thoughts worked…I am on for a second interview for the Admin Assistant in Sales. I am to meet with the VP on Friday at 2pm. and yes, ppearson, there employee discounts but I do not think there is a free Wii as a signing bonus. Wouldn’t hurt to ask but I doubt it. Will keep all posted. Yipppeee! ::::::::Doing a happy dance::::::::::
Congratulations, Karin! I’ll be sending positive vibes to those who will be interviewing you on Friday to make sure they recognize what an asset you would be for them as Admin Assistant in Sales. Good things are happening!
Chocolate marshmallows? Oh man, I think I have a new best friend, Renee! I believe there’s no such thing as too much chocolate. Count me in; I’ll help roast ‘em.
Hi Joan from NJ,
Are you the one with the medicinal chocolate bag? If so, you could add the chocolate marshmallows to your bag. I can’t wait to try them in hot cocoa this winter! Except they are jet-puff size. I’ll have to tear them in half. I also found some chocolate Twizzlers. Them and the chocolate marshmallows are great. The marshmallows are heavenly and made with real chocolate, so rich!
You ought to see the recipes on the bag! Chocolate Truffles. Dip marshmallows in melted chocolate, then roll in sprinkles and let set until they harden. YUM!!
I smelt them before I seen them in the store. My nose lead me to them! lol I’m a choco-holic and a double D(deprived diabetic!). That makes
WOW!!!!
Amazing, isn’t he?
Those eyes are similar to my Kiwi’s eyes, that “Ice blue”
What a beautiful boy!!!
He’s a little heartbreaker. If he were mine I would spend my days staring at him.
Wow is right…Those eyes are to die forrrr! purrrrrrrr!
Happy rainy morning everyone!!
Oh, I wish. It’s hot and dry here. Almost makes me wish Hurricane Dean would turn suddenly and head for the Texas coast.
So sorry Catherine, I would gladly share if I could!
We were saying that this morning.
You get rain, no fair!!
*stomps, pouts and kicks the walls*
Good Morning Huddy’s mama!
I enjoyed reading about your adventure to Philly yesterday. Wow, I am so happy your man friend had such a nice time! Who was in the concert?
We saw Steve Cole the saxophonist. We’ve seen him before, but he was extra good this time. lol
Huddy’s Mama, that is just awsome that the concert was so extra great this time!! I am so happy for you both!! Has Huddy come around to you yet?
Never mind HM,
I read the below post just now!
Hi HM, has Huddy recovered from his bad attitude yesterday after being abandoned by his mama this weekend?
Oh he was sweet as sugar when I made it home last night. Sat in my lap all night and slept with mama. He was crying in the window when I left for work this morning, so all is forgiven.
Awwwww hugs to Huddy!
hey Bumblebee where in Pa are you. if you dont mind me asking?
I’m near Stroudsburg, how about you?
near Pittsburgh
That is far from me!
i dont think i have ever heard of Stroudsburg. We are getting so much rain here. i wanted to stay in bed. good sleeping weather.
Missy,
Stroudsburg is in the northeast of Pa. right about where the upper left point of NJ touches Pa. Hard to explain.
Ok i sorta have an idea now.

Yes, unfortunately it has gotten very built up here. I moved up here from NJ in ‘88.
Sussex is not too far from me, about a half hour or so; I’m in West Milford. Small world! People beware - there are kitten-lovers everywhere!
Bumblebee of PA and Missy-PA, I find it interesting when TDKrs say where they are from. I get out my US road atlas and go hunting for places, populations etc. Broaden my horizons.
Stroudsburg? Wow you aren’t far from me at all. Only about 45 min! Why did I think you were closer to Philly?
Deb,
When we first moved up here, we went to Wilks Bare several times. It’s a small world isn’t it?
I’m the one close to Philly. I might have mentioned it at some point. Chester County, specifically.
Arcalian, didn’t know you were from Pa too! I think that makes 5 of us. I am in Buck’s County. Woo Hoo! Hugs and Purrs
Mo Jo is a beauty!
Lynn, I lived in Bucks County for most of my school years,
Penndel to be exact (near Langhorne)
Hi, Mary Lynn, I live in Doylestown. I know where Penndel is! How long have you been in VA? Do you come back to visit much! Good chatting. Hugs and Purrs, Lynn
Lynn, I live in Chester County now, but I lived in Bucks for more than 10 years, Doylestown specifically!
Cool, Arcalian! I am a transplant for the last 11 years, however, I was born and raised in the Lansdale, Hatfield area which is only 20 minutes to a half hour from here. So yeah, I am local. This is too crazy for words.

How far is Stroudsburg from Burlington NJ?
Rather hypnotic little feline, isn’t he?
Mr. Mojo Rising!!!
Ah…HM… you beat me to it!
LOL! The Lizard King - my first thought!
Wow. Mojo is so gorgeous!! What a very handsome boy!!!

Boy, it is so cold and nasty here, that I had the heat on yesterday to take off the chill and it is on again now too!
cold here too but i am loving it.
Ditto! Too bad by the end of the week we are back to HHH!
I think my heat will be on too tonight, Debsterwiz! Enough of this rain and cold already. Not looking forward to the HHH either! Hugs and Purrs
Quit bragging!
Sorry Catherine if i could share i would. Texas huh use to live in Texas when i was about 13 years old. loved the hot weather there too. but would take the cold weather any day of the week.
The heat makes me sad. The cold weather makes me happy. I have 6 more months before I can be happy - lol.
Sorry, Catherine and HM that you are so hot. I hope you get rain and cooler temps soon. Glad Huddy made up! Hugs and Purrs
