Beanz was found in a garbage dumpster with two siblings and his mum. His eyes were so badly infected he is now mostly blind, though you wouldn’t know it!
I am good this a.m. Greycat. I was a little miffed at my breakfast because they scrambled my eggs until they were the consistency of styrofoam. Why oh why do people think you need to scramble the taste right out of an egg. But I threw the eggs away and just ate the sausage. At least IT was good!!!
My mom was actually the one who sang it. Probably because we had beans & rice every Monday with cornbread (for my dad - he loves that stuff). Ah, memories.
(I’m one of those rare people who’s parents stayed together and still WOULD be together if my mom hadn’t passed away).
Aww! I was looking at the picture before I read the story and I knew something was up with his eyes. They didn’t ‘look’ normal. I’m really happy that you rescued him! He looks very fuzzy. Bet he’s a real cuddle-bug too, right?
…. or Beanz and Bakin for HM …
Hi Everyone!
I wish we could get the rest of the story for some of these
little fur babies that have been saved! Like updates..
What a beautiful little fuzzball! I love his tufty ears and eyebrows! thank goodness he was rescued from the dumpster and has found a loving, furrever home!
What a handsome baby!!! I am so glad you rescued him. He looks contented and very loved!!! Right now he looks like he is saying I have a safe home, and boy am I ever happy!!!!!
Two of my babies were fished out of a dumpster at the age of 2 weeks. They have blessed my life for over three years now. You can find some of the most wonderful things in dumpsters can’t you?
Beanz, glad that you found a good home buddy…nice coloring, very handsome fella. Sorry about the beginning of your life, but things will be good for you here on out >^..^
what a sweet little face. i love the dark gray nose and mouth, that match that handsome fur. beanz looks content and happy, despite his eye infections.
Ok, I must admit, I would try dumpster diving if I knew I could find such a treasure as Beanz. He is so Handsome. God Bless his owners for giving him a chance at a happy life.
Beanz is one very lucky boy and cute too. Beanz is now living the good life thanks to some wonderful caring angels. Hope his mom and siblings are as fortunate.
Rescuers of dumpster babies or any rescuer of a throw away pet are the best. Angels to be sure.
My Boceephus was thrown out and he fit in my hand when i found him.I had for 16 wonderful, loved and never alone (me) years. I am also addicted to this web site. All my babies were found/adopted. My dad paid 50c to the paper boy for our first cat Mittens. I was 7. It started my love affair with cats. though, if i had my way I would adopt everything!!
I can’t believe people can be so cruel to little furbabies… fortunately the number of loving people seems to be about equal to the heartless ones. I am so happy to think that Beanz has people to love him. He is a little black beauty and I am sure he gets around well in spite of his vision loss. Cats are amazing creatures!
I beat Beanz is “full of beans”…as my Mom used to say when we were overly rambunctious! He’s a beautiful cat and I am so happy to hear that he is well loved!
I’m new here but I just wanted to say how precious I thought
Beanz is. I hope whoever put him and his siblings in that dumpster finds out what Karma is… and fast!
I have enjoyed the photos for sometime now. Finally thought I
would sign-up.
In college, I had an adorable gray kitty my roomie rescued from the dumpster. We named him “Nermal” (after “the wrold’s CU-U-U-U-U-TEST kitten!” in the “Garfield” strip). He lived with my parents for 15 years until they moved to Florida to be closer to me. By that time, Nermie was spending so much time at the next-door neighbors’ house, they and my parents decided he’d be happier living with them than moving.
Kewl Beanz!!
My first thought too!
Sooo Beautiful! Bless you for taking this boy in. I would love him like there is no tomorrow!
Mmmm… Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans…
Beautiful baby — sad about his origin and eyes, but he is obviously well loved to make up for it.
Amen- thanks for the kindness and love for this sweet kitty!!!!
Morning HM, hope that you are feeling ok today.
this is one cute little kitten. Glad to hear that he is safe after being rescued for a dumpster.
My two furrkids say hello1

You guys are TOOOO fast! A sad story with a happy ending.
Who’d throw away such a beautiful chocolate furbaby?
At least someone had the heart to save Beanz. All he needs is a yellow furbaby named Cornbred.
Why? They would only have a fight. Beanz would knock cornbread clean outta sight. Cornbread would then say “That’s ok, I’ll get you another day”
Did your dad or stepdad sing that song, too?
My mom was actually the one who sang it. Probably because we had beans & rice every Monday with cornbread (for my dad - he loves that stuff). Ah, memories.
(I’m one of those rare people who’s parents stayed together and still WOULD be together if my mom hadn’t passed away).
What a sweet little Beanz!
Cornbread & beans - funny how homesick that can make me…I long for good ol’ American cookin’!
Beanz needs a white sibling named Ricz
Then we could have Beanz & Ricz.
Or a sibling named Porken
You guys–I’m LMAO!!!!
Lovely little Beanz-snuggle bear.
Or a brother named Fuller, so you could call them “Fuller Beanz.”
How about naming a sibling Hume?
Then you could have a house with Hume and Beanz! (say it fast!)
I got a million of ‘em!
Everyone’s a comedian this morning!!!
Not Ginny
Never.
Awe, how sweet, and so glad you found him!
or a sibling named Pease…
So happy for Beanz rescue! He looks so content now that he has some loving care.
What a handsome kitty. Great job rescuing this little guy and his family!
Poor little Beanz! At least he’s got the benefit of Heinz sight.
Groan!
Someone had to make a Heinz joke - and that was a good ‘un!
Aww! I was looking at the picture before I read the story and I knew something was up with his eyes. They didn’t ‘look’ normal. I’m really happy that you rescued him! He looks very fuzzy. Bet he’s a real cuddle-bug too, right?

A beautiful baby! I’ve never seen a cat with chocolate brown fur before. Sorry about the eyes but what a relief to know this story had a happy ending.
Grrrrrr! ¤%&%#&¤, to the ‘person’ who discarded kitties like trash and warm thanks to her/him who saved them.
Ok, I must admit, I would try dumpster diving if I knew I could find such a treasure as Beanz. He is so Handsome. God Bless his owners for giving him a chance at a happy life.

Hey People,
I’m new here but I just wanted to say how precious I thought
Beanz is. I hope whoever put him and his siblings in that dumpster finds out what Karma is… and fast!

Welcome to TDK! Beanz really is precious.
Welcome Al! This is a fun site.
Welcome to our group. Be sure to check out the TDK chat site, too.
Welcome! Have you helped yourself to some breakfast yet over in the cafe?
I love him. Thank you for having a big heart.
Nobody, but nobody, can keep Beanz down! He’s a beautifully regal kitty.
He’s wonderful! I hope his mama and siblings are well also.

I seem to be a bit lysdexic today; it should have said “world’s”
Dumpster Diving FUZZ, literally!
Legally blind FUZZ
What a precious fluff–blessings to those who save these little ones.
Beanz is a very handsome chap - I’d have to get him a pal called Mash though.
(well, you guys have already nicked the best jokes…
)
Well you could have suggested a sibling named Refreyed.
Then you could have claimed the ethnic dish with Refreyed Beanz.
