Hello! This is Egan and he is very pleased to meet you. Egs is 10 weeks here and already such a gentleman! His favourite toys are furry mice, flying feathered wands and balls with bells. Egan is very good at not scratching our new leather couches… so far! “Egan” is a Gaelic name meaning “little fire”; very fitting for this majestic mutt!

Egan is one gorgeous and very regal-looking l’il tabby guy. LOVE the fluff….but I do take some exception to his being called a “mutt”. To me, “mutt” sounds like a perjorative, as he is somehow defective because he is not purebred. All cats are beautiful, regardless of pedigree. Whenever I speak with family and friends about their cats, they always use their coat colour and texture to describe them to me. I never hear anyone refer to their pet as “my half siamese, half persian, or siamersian”. That kind of pedigree nonsense seems more in the language of dog owners, as my coworker’s labradoodle can attest. Sorry, I’ll get off the soapbox now….

WOW !!! Another beautiful, noble kitty - made my day again !!! He does look like a King. What a wonderful name and how interesting to learn that the name Egan means little fire - thanks for that too. The lynx ears and kingly chin are just so great, I think he has personality plus. Someone earlier on, said “ear feathers” what a good descriptive - I used to say “ear whiskers”. Best wishes for a great life for this kitty and his owners.
