Levi
Location: Jamestown, New York, USA

Levi James, or Leviathan (because he’s going to be such a big boy!), is my four month old kitten. His paws were so big when I got him he looked like a little kid wearing their parent’s shoes. He’s so full of personality and energy! He follows me everywhere, and doesn’t let me sleep when he’s awake at night because every time I move, he’ll pounce on me. Just a day after I got him, I couldn’t imagine not having him!

What a handsome kitty. He looks like he’s ready to go to a formal dinner. He can be my date anytime!
Levi, what a handsome boy you are. I just love Tuxedo’s, if he is anything like mine he will surely grow into a big Love Bug.
What a handsome little tuxie boy! Look at the white tufts in his ears and his huge white whiskers - not to mention the huge paws! What a sweetie!
*Kiss, kiss, snorgle, snorgle, skritch, skritch!*
Goodness, he’s big! My first thought was, “That’s not a kitten - they sneaked in a grown cat.”
You’ll be immobilized with this guy on your lap.
*snorgles Levi so his feelings won’t be hurt. *
“Puttin’ On The Ritz” FUZZ!
(Thanks a LOT, miu)
LOL! You’ve got to have a dapper young man to escort you!
What a handsome fella! He can come home with me anytime.
Good morning TDK, happy almost weekend!
My tiny little Ruggles had huge feet, and at the end of his first year, when he weighed 14 lbs, I thought that was as big as he would get.
Then the vet told me that since Ruggles was a Manx-Maine Coon mix, he probably wouldn’t stop growing until he was three or four years old. I fear for my floorboards! However, after 3 years, he seems to have stopped at 16 pounds.
Levi is big and beautiful, and he looks like a supremely happy kitten — a major tribute to his fond mommy!
He’s a beauty, all right. But not the kitty you’d want to ride around on your shulder all day!! My, what big paws you have, Levi–the better to knead you with, my dear.
That’s “shoulder”-thought I proofread my comment!!!
My goodness, what a big boy Levi is! He’s a handsome one as well.
A big love bug!
What a cutie pie! I love the little giant paws. Tiger gets all irritated when i try to pet his paws.
Beautiful kitty! Love the little black chin under that spotted nose!
Levi James is a cat I know
His humans feed him and watch him grow
He dresses like a million bucks –
White shoes and a snappy tux.
Great kitten.

Congrats, LevisMama! Levi is a cute big boy. I’m looking forward to seeing him on catster later on.
Give Levi a chin scritch from me. Digit and Furl send headbonks and purrs.
Levi - what a wonderful guy !!! Yes, he does look like he will be a big boy, and so beautiful - the waking up at night and pouncing should stop when he is more grown up. Mine don’t even shift now - they understand when I’m getting a drink or if it’s breakfast time. They run both ahead and behind down the stairs with me and I have to be careful not to trip, though usually they are racing to see who can get to the kitchen first. I know you will have many funny and touching moments with this special furfriend. Thanks for sharing.
A splendid tuxie boy! That fur really shines - I bet it is as soft as a cloud. And he has an extremely kissable nose and squeezable paws.
Tuxies rule!
Helloooo! It’s me and I’m back and I know you are used to me being, Rosie in SA but as you can see I’ll soon be Rosie in CA
Would anyone like to heare the story?
Hi Rosie -
What’s up?
Well, my dad is looking bad and when I was talking to him he was saying his only regret was not living his one life long dream of sailing around the world. (My mom got sea sick watching Jaws) So, I got to thinking about how my honey and I always wanted to live on a boat when the kids grew up and moved out and I thought if I don’t do it now when will I? So, I bought a boat and we are moving to California-St. Catalina to be exact and we are going to live our dream. How can I afford this you ask? Well, as it turns out, I was at a boat yard and my friend was trying to talk me into buying this 30 foot boat that I wasn’t interested in, when I saw this beautiful 40′ skooner. WOW. She said that someone had looked in it and said it needed to have the entire interior ripped out and replaced and that it was going to be sunk out in the diving park if no one took it over soon.
It was in dry dock so I could see the hull was in good shape, but I wanted to see inside to be sure for myself. So I plucked up my courage and climbed 15 feet up a ladder-I won’t climb a step stool normally-and what I saw was amazing. It looked like it was built in the forties or something, it was all wood and brass and beautiful! Of course it was dirty and had some problems with a leak in the cabin roof but generally it was in great condition and just needed a little TLC. I started to cry, I felt like I found a starving kitten and I just had to have it, it needed me! I climbed down-alot harder than going up- and asked the boat yard guy what he wanted for it. Get ready for this-$360.00. That’s right. All he wanted was for someone to start paying the boat yard fees so he wouldn’t have to deal with having it sunk! I tracked down the guy who said it needed to be gutted and asked him why. He said because it was old looking. I didn’t know whether to thank him or call him an idiot! I called him an idiot. So, I am doing what my father wants and living my dream. Of course I still have to up root my life and get over there, but my honey was willing, even though I did this without him, and we are headed there October 15 with our two cats and our Sally dog.
Rosie…I sooooooo envy you
I envy you as well! I grew up within view of Catalina and I have ben there a couple times. Lucky you!
Atta girl, Rosie!
Holy Smoke Rosie! Way to go!
That is very cool, good for you
Rosie, that is marvelous. Have you thought of starting a blog with your renovation and sailing adventures. If you do, I would love to subscribe. I am proud of you for seizing the day and going for the dream!
Word for the day: “serendipitous”! You must be livin’ right, Rosie. Just remember, you can take the ol’ gal out of Texas, but you can’t take Texas out of the ol’ gal! You did some wheelin’ and dealin’ that would make any oilman proud!
That’s marvelous, Rosie! I do envy you but I really wish you make it work - you deserve it. 10/10 points for your courage!
I’m so happy for you and your dad. This is a gift for both of you. What memories you will make together! Please check in with TDK when you can. {{{hugs}}}
A fairy tale with a happy ending and all for your Dad. I could cry. Please make a photo bucket for us!
That is just wonderful Rosie! A dream come true!

Lovely Levi - he’s going to be huge! I thought it was just puppies who grew into their paws!
Aww. . .Levi James, such a handsome boy! I have a tuxie named James, so I feel a special kinship. *snorgle, snorgle, smoo, smoo*
Does he like to have his tummy tickled?
sometimes, but mostly when i’ve just come back from somewhere, or he’s tired. or else he’ll attack my hand and he gets scolded for drawing blood and scratching lol
What a great big happy boy.
At first I thought I was looking at Zippy.
Levi’sMom - Congratulations.
I’ld hate to have him dive off my headboard onto my body. Whew!
Love his little black spotted nose, too.
Meow.
May i ask who Zippy is? his little black spot actually was the size of a small freckle when i got him, and it has grown with him. how funny is that?
Levi’s mama,
Zippy is her cat, that she adopted not too long ago.
Ahhhhh…
