My neighbor found Molly by the trash at work. She’s certainly not trash! As soon as I gave her a flea bath and some food, she was happy and playful. She’s independent, sweet and a great traveller (I take her everywhere with me!).
She’s not trash. She’s treasure. And she’s mine.

But her secret weakness is tofu. Trick her into eating some and Baconwoman loses her superpowers!
IF and I repeat IF I had a weakness, tofu would certainly be it. Makes me cringe just thinking about it.

Melveen the cat was named for Melveen Leed, a popular local performer in Honolulu. She did a series of wildly successful commercials for Honolulu Federal Bank (Hon Fed) with Russ Francis (a Honolulu native who played for the San Francisco 49′ers). Since she always called him “Russell” instead of “Russ,” we named the puppy we got at the same time “Russell.”

What an angel! A dumpster is no place for this little wonder, tucked under my arm is a much better place for her. Lots of cuddles for this little baby Molly. I’d dumpster dive for her anyday.
What a knowing look Molly has, and so interested in things. Perhaps that is what makes her easy to travel with. She is just wanting to see what comes next and what is round that corner.
What a lovely lovie — finding this kitten would encourage dumpster diving. Maybe an Olympic event?

Molly’s mama, I swear Molly and my cat Cricket were separated at birth. I’m in Galveston, and they share an uncanny resemblance. How funny is that! Gorgeous little kitty, but then again, I’m partial.
