Odessa
Location: York, Pennsylvania, USA

This is Odessa, one of six stray kittens we rescued over the summer of 2007. This was taken in August when she was about four months old. While still outside, she walked right up to the patio door and peered in at me. I was so sure she was a little boy and wanted to call her “Otto”. However, I was wrong, so I changed her name to “Odessa” or just “Dessa” most of the time. Of all the kittens, she is the only long-hair, and is the most bashful. After living inside with us for nearly three months, she is finally making up to me, allowing me to pet and pick her up. Her tail is so soft and bushy my nose twiches when she swipes her tail under it. I think she will be a beautiful silver cat when she is fully grown. She is still not a hundred percent sure of me, but I am hopeful we will become best buddies very soon. I don’t regret bringing her inside at all! See more pictures at http://www.mctagit.com/odessa.htm.

Pretty kitty..glad you took her in..
What a beautiful, fluffy baby! I love the additional pictures on the website. *Quietly approaches the timid baby and gives her a little skritch on the head*
Sits and lets Odessa come sit by me, as I quietly pet her a little…she is a very pretty young one….she will bring you years of enjoyment
Odessa is a real beauty. She’s got magnificent eyes and I’d love to pet those huge paws, maybe squish a little…
Could this be one of Elene in York’s cats? She’s beautiful!
My thought exactly! Elene, is she yours? If so, you are very lucky to have her–she’s beautiful!

Beautiful silver kitty. Mia is a silver tabby also. I like Odessa’s web page and have saved the link to read about the other kitties when I have the time.
Odessa has such beautiful eyes.
What a lovely girl! Sometimes the shy ones end up being the most loving. I hope she brings you many years of happiness.
Great pictures of adorable and very lucky kittens. Hope you were able to also capture Brownie (mama cat) and have her spayed so there won’t be more to take in.
These sweeties live in my town, but are not mine.
Wish I had the know how to create such a wonderful web site to show case all of mine.

Hi Susan, you’ve been missed!
SUUUUUSSSSAAAANNNNN! You’re back!!!!!!!!!!
Sooz! Don’t be gone so long again!
I really missed you all or for us Southerners y’all. My hard drive died and my nephew had to replace that and then load the software. He is very busy at work plus running back and forth to the hospital with his mom and his wife’s uncle there was not much spare time.
Besides being cut off from the kitties and all of you I just didn’t realize how much I depended on the puter for info, news and keeping in touch.
Hey Susan!! Glad you are back. We really missed you. Hope your family members are doing well.
WHOOOOOOOO!!! You’re back!
