Location: Philomath, Oregon, USA
This is our little Gracie, one of Sasha’s kittens. I rescued Sasha, already full term pregnant, from an abandoned duplex in August. Gracie was the last one born and the runt of the litter. Her pretty blue eyes are turning green and she has the sweetest personality. She loves to be cuddled and cooed over and sitting in this bowl is her favorite pastime. Her and her brother, Phillip, will be going to California soon to live with my parents.

I began my life sleeping in a bread bowl and would still be there if I hadn’t completely outgrown it. What a cute girl!
I have a soft spot for the little black ones. They’re not as adoptable as all the other colors. I’m so glad that Gracie was made an exception of, & was given a happy home to live in
True; I wish people would realize black kitties are actually good luck. Little Gracie and her brother will bring much happiness to their new family.
Why? There have been 2 black cats in my life. They are/were perfectly good cats. I don’t think they would have acted any differently if they were different colored.

Gracie, you are so cute! Black kittens are the best, and they make great adult cats. I hope to find Mojo a home this weekend. He has the personality of a siamese, and has 3 white whiskers on his little black face. PURRRR

I really don’t get the problem with black cats - two of ours are black, and they’re gorgeous!
I don’t either MCW…I have 6 black cats & kittens indoors. That have all have that wonderful,loving siamese in their personalities, & are all differently beautiful. I wouldn’t dare think that any of them were less than purrfect & lucky for me.

I’ve seen black cats at the Shelter that look Siamese (except for being solid black). They are such a kick! So alert and lively. Always wanted one, but…my two cats don’t want any more siblings (somehow I ended up with 2 Shelter kitties I fostered, neither one black).

I wish people would judge cats by personality and not color. Cats don’t care the color of their people and friends so why should we?
