Sheika was adopted from the local shelter in August, 2007 when she was 8 weeks old. It was love at first sight and this kitten was destined to be in our home. She is an active kitten, always talking and playing and she loves to go for a ride in the car.

My kitties hate car rides, but my tortie loves to take rides on my shoulder! We go all around the house, sniffing windows and checking everything out.

Ooooh, Sheika looks like she is lots of fun! She’s so cute! I’ve never been owned by a tortie; I hear they are wonderful kitties. You never know - I never thought I would be owned by anyone other than a black cat and here I am with 2 non-blackies!

Torties rule! I met my first tortie ,Jennyanydots, when I found her thrown out in a paper bag with her 2 little brothers. I had her for 16 years. In her honor , 3 of my 7 kitties are beautiful torties.
Since I am new to this site, I first found Mr Bug just yesterday and I am so sad to hear the of the loss today. My heart goes out to you.

She looks just like my Holly did when she was a baby…my niece rescued Holly from the roadside after some creep hit her and drove off. The vet, Dr. Superhero, saved her and now she’s all grown up and just as sweet and loving as can be! I love torties, and tabbies, and orangies, and…well, you get the picture…
