Cat Fancy magazine had the best idea and it worked for me. Put the tree up and leave it bare for about two weeks. Then decorate. When there was nothing to play with, my cats treated it like it wasn't even there. I do put a row of crystal beads draped on the bottom branches because they like to hear the noise and also like walking under it and pulling off the garland with their tails. Jesse is never far from our thoughts. I feel such a kindred with so many of you here who have lost "family members." Especially at this time of year. My heart goes out to all who wait to see them again. When I was a child, I remember loosing a helium balloon to the wind and my Mother (God rest her soul), told me that God would keep that balloon for me until I get there myself. I believe now, Jesse James may have custody of my balloon. Sounds crazy I guess, but --- OUT OF THE MOUTH'S OF BABES.....
