Pixie
Location: Fultondale, Alabama, USA

This is Pixie. She is four months old and weighs three pounds. Someone dumped some kittens in a ditch behind a shopping center not far from my house. I’ve been feeding them for quite a while and trying to catch them. Pixie, in my opinion, wanted to be caught. She was always very friendly, not the least bit shy. She has all the others animals in the house (two dogs, three grown cats) wrapped around her little paw. All the others adore her and her sassy ways.

pounce?
You got her, WWM!
My goodness - that has certainly never happened before. Y’all must be snoozing! Pixie, what a sweet and innocent little face you have! Both my girls were rescued and I’m convinced that they make the best kitty friends. They are always so grateful. When not being naughty, of course!
See, GD - too much licorice vodka can be a dangerous thing
No, no, WWM, I’m saving it in the box my brother sent, to have something to unwrap for Christmas. No Licorice vodka for me.
I did take two Sudafed PEs last night, and Bob coopereated, so I got to sleep until 8:45 - can’t remember last time I slept that long!
Instead of the licorice vodka, I had water with drops of Echinacea in it - ack, I’m still gagging!
What’s to say? Just the cutest pic EVER!!!!
Feel better GD. Efuryone have a great weekend.
You, too, SOM! The Echinacea better help - it is nasty! (oh, wait, what do you mean, the cutest pic ever? Didn’t you see The Bobster’s Christmas pic?)
Such a cutie..with a name like Pixie, she must be up to a lot of mischief.
Sitting here eating my morning Bowl of Oatmeal,I am looking at Pixie’s eyes. Do I detect a bit of Meezer mischief lurking there? Her Facial coloring looks like she could be part Meezer too.
Spied a nice Orange cat last night when came home from work. He wanted to talk, but would not come close enough to touch. Perhaps tonight…
HEY GREYCAT! long time no see. I hope all is well in your corner of the world.

Well worth saving this beautiful lady…..I hope her brothers and sisters found homes also. It is true, rescued kitties are forever grateful.
Perhaps she was the one meant to be with you, what a precious angel.

What a great picture, it shows Pixie off very well. Both of you are lucky you found each other. Happy Holidays to everyone
it breaks my heart to hear about kittens being dumped. thank you for being so kind as to feed the little souls and rescue at least one! Pixie will repay you in endless purrs and unlimited amounts of kitty love. She is one cute little beastie.
Bless you for feeding the kittens and having the persistence to catch Pixie. She is a beautiful treasure and gift. She has very deep looking eyes and is a smart little girl. I hope that you or someone can catch her siblings. I wonder if a vet could supply you with something that could added to food to make them sleep or become groggy enough in order to catch them. If they are four months old though, I also wonder how tamable they would be by now. I saved a full grown female from a grocery store one day. It was the strangest experience because she came up to me and I swear it was like she was asking for help. I brought her home with me but my female cat, Katie, made it impossible for her to stay. I was able to find a home for her with a friend where she is the matriarch of the house with another kitty and Chihuahua for company. May Pixie and you have many purrfect years together. Take care.
She’s a beauty! Thank you for rescuing her, she will always be grateful.
Pixie is adorable and does have a sassy look to her
