Amalia
Location: Normal, Illinois, USA
Amalia (Mali for short) is just six months old. Her name comes from the Arabic word ‘Amal’, meaning hope. She is the essence of hope and trust for me. Last night I came home to find her on top of the refrigerator. She swayed back and forth looking for a way down. When wanted to get to me badly enough that she decided to launch herself onto my shoulder and coat! She begins to make those wonderful contented sounds every time I pick her up. She is definitely a people cat!

I love that brushstroke up her nose with a very distinctive peak of what looks like snow above it! So many beautiful babies, so little time!!!
