This is my kitten Binkie. He is much older now but still just as oblivious. He often loses his balance and has a cute habit of grunting and snorting. He is happiest with the toilet seat up so he can drink out of it. I love him!

Please never let your cats drink from toilets. There is a residue from the chemicals used to clean them let alone the ick factor.

What a cute baby!
The funniest thing happened last night. I was grilling a steak and of course I had to open the windows and turn on the overhead fan to keep the smoke from setting off the smoke detectors. After a while we began hearing a very loud meowing outside the front door. It was a half grown kitten wanting to get in and share the steak with us! It was very insistant and I would have let it in, but my husband wouldn’t let me. He is very allergic to cats so I have to get my “cat fix” here. I am sure it belonged to someone, because it didn’t stick around long after we shut the door. If I see it again, tho, I’ll slip some food to it!
You have a good heart, tell hubby to take some benadryl next time and open the door..

ABSOLUTELY!!!! When I met my fiance he was extremely allergic and had asthma and as time has progressed he has pretty much grown out of it…. I loved the above comment — LOVE ME, LOVE MY KITTIES…. Hey Church Lady . . . in MY world, it’s love me . . . love my cat. I had only one cat when I met my husband. Now, I have five. He can deal with it, or he can leave! (he is also allergic to cats so gets shots)

He’s so cute! For Binkie’s sake, I have a suggestion based on experience with my beloved cat that I lost a couple of years ago. Please have a vet check Binkie’s nose, throat and especially deep in the ears for infection, after explaining his balance and snorting issues to the vet. It’s possible that he could have allergies or chronic recurring infections affecting his head or upper respiratory system causing the above symptoms. Enjoy this sweetie!
