Tiger & Lily

Tiger & Lily are ten weeks old in this picture. We adopted this brother and sister from our local humane society. These rambunctious kittens helped our family get over the loss of our two previously adopted kittens that died of FIP when they were just three months old. In this picture they are basking in the sunlight of our kitchen bay window after a morning of play.

Is it me or do they look older than 10 weeks, though?

I agree-they look to be at least 6 months-maybe they are just precocious.

Titus and Cassius (my orangies in April) looked big for their ages, too, but that pic showed them at 10 months.
Maybe they’re very well-fed and exercised!

Hulk kittehs!
(Don’t make them angry - you won’t like them when they’re angry! :D)

Orange females are getting more common, in our area (southern Oregon) anyway. Orange males still predominate, though. One of my recent foster kittens was orange female, another was a buff male. Female orangies are very special and I wish I could’ve kept Li’l Red but she was adopted to a loving home.
Tiger and Lily are precious kitties! I love the way they are curled around each other. I bet the girl’s on top!

I have an ORANGIE of my own…. BULLET BOB…. he is a BOB-TAIL and about 15 lbs. He is 1 of our family of 6 kitty-babies and is the comedian of our kitty-family, he is hilarious. He was named after a very famous professional wrestler in the State of Georgia, BULLET BOB ARMSTRONG. Mr. Armstrong is 60+ years old and still going strong in the ring into to the year 2008. Our BULLET BOB sits, curled up in the bathroom sink until someone obliges him and turns on running water. He is definitely a water-snob. Only the freshest water for BULLET BOB! I love your TIGER & LILY (great names). Best of wishes and I’m sure you shower them with love every day!…. Signed,
JESSE’S MOM (and Holly”wood,” Maggie May, Bullet Bob, Sassy May, Penny May & Connie May)’s Mom too!

Awwwwwwwww they are too sweet.
Glad you adoped them both to keep them together.
Bless their little hearts!
My girls love laying in their bay window too, especially in the spring and summer when the sun is in the front of the house.
We too, adoped our two girls after our 21 year old Siamese was put down…..it was the best thing we did after losing our Siamese.
Our house was just to quiet.
It really did help us grive over our old kitty.
