Rat

This is a photo of my sweetie-cat Rat. Rat was a failure-to-thrive child that required extra TLC and feeding to grow. She loved to be loved and would snuggle with me for long periods. Unfortunately she died recently, but I have many other “kitty brats” to give me love and affection when I am down-in-the-dumps!!

There was an accident in Michigan yesterday….semi tipped over and dumped 40 tons of meat all over the highway.

It DID look like bacon/pork. :-)

Sometimes these little angels are given to us for just a short time, to teach us some kind of lesson we need to learn. Having her snuggle next to you for long periods of time would be a lesson in unconditional love that I would treasure always. What a sweet little girl.

2008-01-17 19:42:16

I echo what Siobhan has said. Cats are definitely angels that come into our lives to help us or teach us something. They go when their work is done and they are needed elsewhere. RIP Rat. What a beautiful kitty you were. Such a sweet face. Hope you are having fun over the Rainbow Bridge now.

Rat is so adorable! She is watching you from the bridge while she is playing with her friends. It’s sad she was taken too soon, but she was loved and she loved while she was here!

I’m not sure if she’s chewing on her lip or giving an aside, “Psst… Slip some bacon my way, OK?”

So sorry for your loss, she sounds like a lovely snuggle kitty. Let those other “brats” snuggle your dumps away, dear!

Awwwwwwwww, so sorry about your baby Rat.
She wasn’t even my cat, but I feel so sad for you.
Bless her little heart.
I believe someday, we will be reunited with all our beloved furry pets.
You hang in there…..

P.S. When we lost our kitty, we went out and adoped new furballs, that seemed to help us, but you will know when it is time.
Take Good care now.

Hello Everyone! I’m new!! I’ve been reading this for a long time and love all the comments. This POUNCE stuff just makes me smile. What a great bunch you are. I have 2 little furry gentlemen. Norman Bates and Jacob Marley. They were both rescued from going to the great sardine in the sky. I just love my boys. Thank you for all the joy you’ve brought.

Named my one boy Jacob Marley because he’s just an old man since we got him and Norman Bates is just an orange spawn of satan and I love him. He’s just trouble. The boys came at a time when we had lost Karma Jade (gray with big green eyes) and Rover both stray wild kittens. A neighbor boy killed both of them and a part of us. Thought we’d never get another. So glad we did.

She was so pretty!

Our kitty was the runt of her litter and also needed extra TLC and feeding after her mum stopped feeding her. She’s now over 23 years old and has probably outlived all her siblings that mum did take care of!
