Sabre was given to me by my boyfriend this past summer, and now I can’t imagine my life without him. He is my sidekick, co-pilot in the car, shoulder percher (he LOVES to jump and sit on people’s shoulders) and he has the most personality of any kitten I have ever met. He loves to snuggle and has decided to hog a side of the bed every night. He loves to play in the tub after showers have been completed and constantly tries to butt his way in front of the mirror and into the sink while I’m getting ready in the morning. He really is the joy of my life and makes everyone that he comes in contact with the happiest they can possibly be.

Where did you get this cat? The humane society? My sister from Faribault got a cat that looks the exact same but it is a girl. She said when she went in there were two, a boy and a girl. I wouldn’t doubt that Heather (which is what the humane society had named the girl cat) is the sister of Sabre. They truly look exactly alike.

I used to twirl a sabre in the 70’s in a drum & bugle corps…It wasn’t shaped like a kitten though!

WHAT an absolutely alluring kitten. I love the full shape of his head and face, he’s a real little boy. The “M” marking on his forehead shows
up beautifully. It’s been said that the marking was put there by Mary
who protects them somehow.
It sounds like Sabre is enjoying life. God Bless both him and his

I heard the story of the “M” mark …It goes something like this.
On the first Christmas, Baby Jesus was crying and Mary was unable to soothe Him. A little tabby kitten climbed into the cradle and began to purr. This soothed jesus and He fell asleep.
A grateful Mary patted the kitten on the head thus bestowing the “M” for Mary or Madonna.
What a sweetie! Cats really are the best, aren’t they? It’s amazing the amount of love and joy they bring into your life.
